It's custom Type III HA Black anodized, bored to fit 2x18500 cells. It's completely anodized inside out, except the electrical contact points have been machined to reveal the bare aluminium. I just fitted in the stainless steel bezel.

Yup. Only the black one is. the HA natural one is a stock C3.
I think the C3 makes an awesome versatile host coz you can use either 2x18500/17500 or 3 primary CR123's while outputting almost the same voltage.

@heng84
Your choices should be narrowed to
Tiablo A10-G
Tiablo A9 with collimator
Solarforce Masterpiece-1

=D

If you want the stanley, you gotta pull some strings. =D

For Metalzone:
LOL check your account.

Oh the cyan shadows... lol... tongue.gif I used my Mag74 and ceiling fluorescent light for lighting. So I adjusted the white balance during post processing... and coz I was lazy to desaturate that particular blue hue (I should have done that actually now that you say it).
EDIT: fixed the cyan shadows. you need to reload the picture.

Haha! Just wondering. whistling.gif

Just what I thought, hehe. At first I was wondering what gives cyan lighting. Then I realized it must either be ur fault or some conversion problem xD

Teehee!

Received the Thrunite dropins from Uncle Wong today.

Here they are:

From left: Stock reflector, 2.7-9V w/SMO and 18650 only with OP reflector.
The emitter of the 18650 is very off-center.

This thing is very bright and throws good in a smooth reflector thumbup.gif . However, it gets really hot after a few seconds. Thanks again to Uncle Wong. If only the Thrunite Catapult came in parallel battery configuration....
