iirc there were issues with the switch. i find the ui actually works well. it'll probably work well for refnulf also since it's soft click for moonlight (go bathroom) and double click for turbo (cari pencuri). the long press to access memory and the engineering modes are also plus points imo. plus i like its compact form factor and its stamina trumps my s1r turbo s. hence it's my trekking/camping go to light. the soft glow indicator really helps in the tent's pitch darkness!

QUOTE(power911 @ Oct 25 2019, 07:35 PM) I would prefer if you mention what work you do and criterias like what Justin.Loong ask but allow me to share my wishlists for headlamps Skilhunt H03F (due to the versatility of spot and flood with the flap diffuser) YLP Panda 2M CRI (Headlamp with LH351D hi CRI LEDs are definitely useful for my ex electrician job) for battery and charger, just go with Samsung 30Q and Liitokala Lii 100 QUOTE(Justin.Loong @ Oct 29 2019, 11:37 AM) If like that, then a headlamp would be a better choice so that you may be able to use your hands. K sifus Avoid Cool White torchlights and choose Neutral White for better colour rendition. Something like the below. ![]() Click here --> Source: Olight H2R Neutral White XHP50 headlamp Also with a 18650 battery, you'll also have long runtimes. IINM, sifu RookieDaddy is the one of the most reliable to get more accurate advise. 1.) Skilhunt H03F (Using the Cree XM-L2 U4) Price : RM 187.61 at Shopee Charger : RM 32.55 at Shopee 2 pcs of Samsung Batt : RM 44.00 at Shopee Total Damage : RM 264.16 365LM for 5hrs with 3500mAH, 18650 IPX 8 2.) Nitecore HC33 (Using XHP35 HD) Price : RM 360.00 at Shopee for 11.11 promotion c/w D2 Charger, NL 1835 (3500mAH, 18650) 240LM for 5hrs 45min with 3500mAH, 18650 IP68 (About IPX 8) 3.) Olight H2R (Using XHP50) Price : RM 355.00 by Gadgetworld2u.com 150LM for 10 hours (No other step in between 200 to 300 LM, next is straight to 600LM) IPX 8 Which shall go with, I think 250 to 300 LM is the practical range for daily use, any suggestions. Please advise. |

QUOTE(shanjeev @ Nov 1 2019, 03:08 PM) K sifus If budget allow, I'd go with the Nitecore over Olight H2r or skilhunt.1.) Please advise. Here are my reasons, Skilhunt is budget range compared to two of those big named bois and with both olight and nitecore giving a more useful UI, the skilhunt became finicky thanks to the "hold to off" If a single light is all you need, and you use it for work, might as well skip this and go with a proper good light with easy to use UI. If you are a hobbyist, then the skilhunt is definitely a good addition to a collection of good budget light I avoid Olight due to the propietary 18650 given. It's not a bad cell but if you want to charge the battery using the light then you'll need only Olight batteries. Common 18650 won't be able to charge. That's just my only reason to not get the olight. Overall light is as good as other olights. Nitecore comes with option to remove diffuser is already my way of saying yes to versatility. just my few cents |

We recommend using the NITECORE NL1835HP 18650 battery which can be added via the above menu. The HC33 can also be powered by normal 18650 batteries, 2x CR123 or 2x RCR123 batteries in a pinch. However, Turbo will not be available using CR123As. Click Source: --> Nitecore Store HC33 Headlamp![]() Gadgetworld selling for MYR94 only. So either way, you will need to invest in a good battery brand. |
