![]() AT&T is reporting a no-commitment price of USD699 for the 32GB iPhone 4 on their webpage. The same price they've posted on their webpage during the 3G[S] for the folks who are not eligible for upgrade. Looking at this price level, and the slight premium the Australian iPhones should be as per the last 3G[S] launch, it should be in line with the last tiered pricing, namely RM2900-3000 for the 32GB iPhone 4 and RM2500-2600 for the 16GB model. |

$699 = approx RM2.3k
Why Malaysia must sell so expensive? I'm looking forward to get one of these but may have to wait a while (Christmas?) until the price drops a little bit. |

QUOTE(kayweng @ Jun 8 2010, 01:32 PM) Compatibility "iOS 4 works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. Not all features are compatible with all devices. For example, multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS." copy from Apple Official Website. What does mean ? 3GS user can update version to acheive some parts of features of 4G ?!!! QUOTE(kayweng @ Jun 8 2010, 01:38 PM) http://www.apple.com/iphone/iphone-3gs/ later u can download iOS 4.0 for 3gs, wait for it to be available. this is already announced in aprilwhy i check this 3GS from Apple ..that mentioned allow multitasking ,Folders,iBooks,and some new features... do we can achieve those features in future? It's better for a telco competing for a better cheaper price...benefit us.. if they agree to selling same price..that's is gonna be dilemma to choose.

@stringfellow,
I hope we don't haf to go through the same "heart attack" but you're usually more kan cheong than I am so hehehhehe we'll see where the opportunities are for 2010 Hmm.. no commitment USD699 - but that doesn't translate to the phone being "unlocked"! Damn... Singapore's in the list for July! But ah well.. so's Australia! Have to go through checking whether the iPhone 4 is locked/unlocked... tedious but thankfully we have some very helpful forummers here for that This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jun 8 2010, 02:00 PM |

Just curious,
You guys in Malaysia, would you prefer to pay a premium & get a US/HK/SG set (non warranty), or rather wait for Maxis/Digi/Celcom set to release (with warranty)? |
