i think this alone will make me think of getting powersupport screen protectors for the front an back as well as bumpers, i also have some extra ipod socks that can be used to store the iphone 4 hehe
*
i've been using the powersupport screen protectors for both my iphone 3G (anti-glare) and my ipad (clear). So far so good and there's no problem whatsoever. Would definitely buy from powersupport again for iphone4.

I'd recommend that though. biggrin.gif

@nimrod323,
Haven't really paid attention to the Bumpers and am sure there's gonna be other available options [damn, need to look into that too!]

But anyways this isn't the place to discuss about iPhone casing + screen protectors cause there's another dedicated thread for that one so let's leave this discussion for the other thread `k? wink.gif

It's definitely obvious - well, at least it was very obvious on my i3G Black. And as mentioned, let's stop discussing casing + screen protectors, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

noted, okay anyways, whatever happened to the Verizon Iphone 4? there is no news of this at WWDC though the employees of Verizon did indicate something about launch in september, also i heard Celcom Axiata might be agreeing to sign a partnership with Apple, looking at the current trends it would be early next year for their offering. I think their 3.5G coverage better in places like Sabah and Sarawak especially biggrin.gif

@nimrod323,
Hmm.. Celcom's signing a deal for the iPhone too?! Oooh that would just open up more options but early 2011?! Er. might as well wait a while more for the refresh iPhone 5 tongue.gif

Yes if you're in Sabah/Sarawak go with Celcom but otherwise if you're in Peninsula, Maxis is okay lah. I'm stuck in KL so no problem with whichever telco tongue.gif

Btw where's the Celcom info from?

read it up sometime in march IIRC, heres a link tho http://www.liewcf.com/celcom-iphone-malaysia-4924/. Well i however have some issues when i go back to my dad's hometown in Perak Tengah area, lol most to most its GPRS haha, although pretty much any major town along the PLUS highway has at least edge to 3.5G speed under maxis.

i dun think so see this line from o2

iPhone Pay & Go customers

Yes, you can unlock your iPhone for a one-off cost of £15. You'll pay for this from the money topped-up on your phone.

But if you unlock your iPhone less than 12 months after you bought it, we'll take off the free Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On (that we added for the first 12 months). You can buy a Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On for £10 a month when you fill in the unlocking form. Find out more about the Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On here.

@k8118k,
Without phone contracts doesn't mean it's an officially unlocked phones. All US phones by AT&T remain locked to the AT&T network.

Celcom will not jump into the iPhone pool simply because there are huge commitment to fulfill if they would take up the deal. further more, Apple's deal to Telcos is always favour to themselves. look at digi and maxis, both suffering from throwing money to advertise, packaging (plan) and worse still, slashing price now especially like Digi knowing that iPhone 4 is about to launch, yet they took the deal. maybe most of u guys do know that digi is trying to clear their stock asap by offering their staff to purchase at below cost price and also asking their staff to sell iphone plan to customer in order to get 1 free iphone for themselves.

Based on the article from the URL, Celcom's CEO never said anything about getting the deal signed. hence i dont think Celcom will jump into the pool any soon or perhaps never.

finally spent sometimes read about the annoucement of iphone 4 by apple....cool, it is slimmer finally.

but... the below just alarmed me..

For now, the videoconferencing function, FaceTime, works only if both parties to the call have an iPhone 4 and are connected over Wi-Fi rather than a cell phone network.

Jobs indicated that FaceTime will eventually work over cellular networks, saying Apple needs to "work a little bit" with wireless providers to make it "ready for the future."

does it mean, no video call vide cellular network until they "work" it out... hmm.gif

The last time I checked, Digi has no stock for the 3GS and why would they do that?
