Celcom will not jump into the iPhone pool simply because there are huge commitment to fulfill if they would take up the deal. further more, Apple's deal to Telcos is always favour to themselves. look at digi and maxis, both suffering from throwing money to advertise, packaging (plan) and worse still, slashing price now especially like Digi knowing that iPhone 4 is about to launch, yet they took the deal. maybe most of u guys do know that digi is trying to clear their stock asap by offering their staff to purchase at below cost price and also asking their staff to sell iphone plan to customer in order to get 1 free iphone for themselves.

Based on the article from the URL, Celcom's CEO never said anything about getting the deal signed. hence i dont think Celcom will jump into the pool any soon or perhaps never.

or perhaps some people dont know anything trying to act smart. no doubt they have no stock right now, you think they are so stupid to keep stock? obviously when they launched their iphone, they were trying to clear their stock fast knowing that iphone 4 is about to launch. perhaps you should search LYN's forums on those who are selling digi plan. they were willing to give rebate up to RM500. so tell me whether this is true or not that digi was desperately trying to clear their stock. only those who are still in their fantasy world will think otherwise.

not sure whether there is such arrangement on returning the leftover or not, but for sure that the contract signed between Maxis with Apple was to commit 120K units which i doubt Apple is willing to take back their phone. that's the reason why both telcos were trying to get rid of the phone before iphone 4 announced. things happening ppl may not see or know, but what actually is going on i know, cos i am from telco industry.
