Trailer looks dope!

If film is at least 50% of what trailer promises, it'll set fire at BO

Vera Farmiga looks fine as hell. Looks like Elizabth Olsen & Quick Silver completly gone lol

Look at that last shot OMG!!! Godzilla's towering presence givin vibe of literal "GOD-like"

Dafuq Kong has against this guy lol?

At the rate Godzilla's bein built against King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mothra, King Kong (in 2020 film) gonna get squashed lol

Godzilla 2 is slated to release on 31st May 2019 according to IGN iirc

Lagipun, like James Cameron said I think the Avengers/Superheroes fatigue is about to set-in real fast.

The sequel has a lot of action and visuals are spectacular... but the plot and character development are very weak.

I still enjoyed it in overall.

This sequel is more align with Kong Skull Island rather than the borefest 2014 Godzilla. Leave your brain at the ticket counter and immerse yourself with the dumb fun assault on your senses. I simply don't care the human story and all in with the kaijus pummelling each other. Not saying it is as drab as the Bayformers, each of the kaiju still has way more personality than those abhorrent robots.

Guess Kong vs Godzilla pretty much inevitable.

Hmm... too bad, 50% RT only...

I think it succumbed under the "heavy" load of monsters in just 1 flick. tongue.gif

I can imagine it as an all out monster-bash-em'-up with little to no care for the plot.

Could have been epic with the classic monsters given a modern makeover, the trailer certainly gave that.

I guess it's a pass for me...

Now hoping "Dark Phoenix" delivers.

Balanced.

Monster fighting scene 50%, human plot 50%.

But 2014's monster fighting scene has shaky camera view and as if the shot was taken from a human handcam/helicopter passing by ala Cloverfield and Distrrict 9.

While 2019 Godzilla fighting shots for monster fighting scene looks like Pacific Rim 1's kaiju vs Jeager scenes.

You wont dissapointed with this movie if you are only looking for monster fight plot and not the character build, strong storyline etc.

Btw, there got end credit scene for this movie.

Not rreally say its worth staying to watch but if you dont want to miss any of the moment in this movie, you may stay until end credit roll's end. Its serve as a question of what will happen next to the bad monster after Godzilla 2019's movie.

they try very hard to make human race great again in Godzilla series but they not willing to be like the old toho godzilla story where ending majority always "what ever human do, they always fail to take out godzilla"

I thought the whole point of watching a godzilla movie is to see godzilla kick ass. Anyone expecting an oscar worthy story n character development in a monster movie should look elsewhere

Unfortunately Hollywood's aim is to build the MonsterVerse and the upcoming Kong vs Godzilla. Americans never ever made a proper Godzilla film with a genuine purpose to convey a message.

At the end of the day, this is a super expensive live-action cartoon. You watch this simply to be a kid again and not worrying about how important the scripting gonna be.

Hmmm care about human in Godzilla flick, overall this is much better than 2014 Godzilla and rotten tomatoes rating is bullcrap anyway. The lamest uninspiring Captain marvel at 78% certified fresh?
