I thought the american godzilla had better special effects but the movie itself was... not great.
Movies Godzilla | based on the iconic Toho Co. character, company behind 300 and The Dark Knight ?

Watched it yesterday. It's slightly disappointing to me, far from satisfying but the last 30 minute compensates just enough.

QUOTE(luckykid5 @ May 13 2014, 10:24 PM) intend to bring my 5 year old kid along...will it be alot of talking and only some glimpse of actions towards the last 30 mins? or it has its fair share of monsters destruction like pacific rim? It's mostly talking but yes, there's a fair share of monster appearances (not Godzilla) in between that 90 minutes |

QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ May 14 2014, 01:19 AM) Nice review bro, just as i thought it would be. So far I was the only person who thought that the first 90 min was boring, so it's unlikely that you'd feel the same way hahaWell, will have to find out myself tonight. Hoping that the first hour and a half is not as boring as i thought it would be. Haha. |

The sequel has a lot of action and visuals are spectacular... but the plot and character development are very weak.
I still enjoyed it in overall. |

QUOTE(keny2020j @ May 30 2019, 03:06 PM) they try very hard to make human race great again in Godzilla series but they not willing to be like the old toho godzilla story where ending majority always "what ever human do, they always fail to take out godzilla" Unfortunately Hollywood's aim is to build the MonsterVerse and the upcoming Kong vs Godzilla. Americans never ever made a proper Godzilla film with a genuine purpose to convey a message. This post has been edited by tonYe: May 30 2019, 03:30 PM |
