this usually occur when you switch the box on from standby, seems like a bug from the begining, astro tried to fix the problem in the latest firmware update but failed

temporary fix is to press "tv" button on the remote, the current channel info will be back

or leave the box switch on for couple of minutes and all channels info will show
*
thanks alot bro, will try to press the TV button to get the info back.

May is near already. We should be hearing about which carriers that will carry AXN HD Asia soon.

Apparently the hot news on Astro FB page is that AXN BEYOND is coming in May
A lot of things are coming in May they say..
I bet a lot has to do with World Cup but dont rule out the recording functions bec0ming available too
But is sucks that they have only 1 tuner for Byond..
Any sifu here can teach give opinion on how to overcome this?

Anybody used Byond with an older dish? My parents' house has Astro that was installed back in 2000. I wonder if the dish will work with Byond.

Why do you need to use the old dish since you will get the Byond dish? anyhow, Byond box can work with old dish, you can still watch the program.
