There are at least 3 different 3D technologies around at the moment and 2 of them can be done on a standard def TV.
Basically there is no standard for HD 3DTV at the momnet and without a standard how can there be production of content as almost always it has to start right done out the standard of the camera.

I would be very careful about buying any 3D TV's at the moment and I would not be expecting TV broadcasters to lead the way either. Gaming consoles will be the biggest winner out of 3D. Do not buy a 3D TV thinking that it will magically tranform normal or even HD broadcast into a 3D picture.

Well if got Discovery HD will they be skipping work to watch TV and not terminate Astro?
Or they dont have work and watch TV 24/7/365?
