if i recall correctly, streamyx prices have never gone down UP. the packages have been upgraded, customers are paying the same price for the price of their old packages, and they've introduced higher speeds for low prices.

give TM a credit where it is due, TM has never increased the price for their internet service products...

TMnet suspended the cap. However, they still reserve the rights to cap in the future.

here, id avoid being an ass like the other forumer earlier. i understand that some have better things to do than surf forums all day and night, so things like this comes as news to us....

they are still there.... not sure how true that is ... but something to think about... these tm buggers can change their plans/ packages anytime they want... they might put it back the next month... u never know.. they're just trying to lure peeps into using their service and BHAMMMMMMMMMMM CAP IS ONNNN U LIKE IT OR NOT HEHEHE

My current impression is that many here were initially against any sort of cap, wanting "unlimited". But now it seems many are willing to accept a cap, as long as it is fairly reasonable. I think this is one thing TM has done by advertising the cap. It has changed some people's mindset. From "unlimited", it has become "bigger cap". Meaning a cap is becoming acceptable.

There will be no way to please everyone with a cap. If they say 500GB, there will be someone who is unhappy as they want 800GB maybe. TM is actually in the best position to study Streamyx users usage and also new Unifi users usage till end of the year and come up with something after that.

ther will be no cap for now, TM is learning the usage of users. since you guys are complaining about caps, why dont subscribe to it and use it to max so that they will know how we use it.

and u're a 2nd world malaysian? from the bottom of your heart, do u personally feel that the website can be relied upon? That timely information will be reflected in the webpages? This is tmnet we are talking about.

Anyway the sub-title of this thread already has the answer. People just need to be more aware and read, instead of rushing to post. And use the mass in their skull to do some thinking.

Which is why I'm still considering lol since we are paying RM110 including phone rental the price for 5mbps isn't big difference but it's the cap.. but we will wait and see

I do not think it will be "unlimited". Also, don't be surprised that Streamyx will also be capped eventually. Then you will have to choose between caps and let go of the "unlimited". Or you can get a dedicated leased line if you require that.

Streamyx is by TMNet
UniFi is by TM

TM is not the same as TMNet, they're a separate company and they both have different CEOs.

So now UniFi is a direct competitor for Streamyx?

there is no cap for temporary cause a lot of question from user.

So there temp remove it and try to get usage amount of 1st phase user.

From usage info from 1st phase user there will able to find reasonable cap and how FUP should apply on their product.

Current streamyx user also will no happy so fast cause there will also cap Streamyx in future.

(exact 60GB is fine with me as long as there no apply daily cap)
