i have set up my dfi nf4 sli-dr with the a64 3000+ Venice,but i dont't know how to set the bios cos this is my 1 amd rig,where can i learn the setting,pls help me

try to clock ur ram at 200.. cause mosel chips won't go far.... or under 200 to be safe if u want to overclock ur cpu

i'd try 250x9 to start with and divider of 166 to be safe..

use stock voltage for that and see whether it's stable.. newer venices go very well with stock voltage.. mainly week 17 onwards.. so yea.. try that first.. if can't then bump ur voltage up abit.. and flash to the latest bios.. 510-3

Why are u using divider? Your corsair ram should be able to do at least 250mhz imho. AFAIK, 15mins of prime95 is not indication of stability, should test it for at least 3 hours. The last time i primed the error occured after 2 and 1/2 hours

check for revision first la.. not all can hit 250

4.3 4.2 1.5 1.4 will most likely hit 250

the rest i don't think so.. 5.1 won't hit 250 at all

anyone knows which dimm to put a pair of tccd ram? if i'm not mistaken, i read through some thread saying that tccd is best on 1 and 3 dimm, correct me if i'm wrong.

and what should i do once i get a new tccd in hand in a dfi ultra-d?

orange slots for TCCD.. and try 310 official bios before trying other bioses

that's y i got a pair of rev2 coming.. hehe.. use that before they solve the problem.. hopefully a bios change will fix it

So far i do not face this issue. It's really weird that some users get this issue while others not. Perhaps it is the UnTesTed chip's problem.

oh man, i was going to buy the pc4000 gold vx but after reading those threads i'm having second thoughts.. not so much on the coldboot issue but the dead ram issue. seems most rams that died were UTT rams..

guys, why my dfi still can boot normally even when i set the cmos jumper to reset setting? my other board all will have a blank monitor screenif i do it that way..

You can use DDR booster instead of enabling the 5v jumper. It solves your problem.
