do i need to play around wif the HTT link speed and voltage? coz never saw anytin bout tat in the phenom II guides..

HTT yes..sure u have to tweak it to find the sweet spot..
HT link..u can leave at 2ghz +- abit.. will not increase performance.. it might increase if use IGP..
the volt.. sometimes when i OC..i give some extra volt to HT and NB..legend said that it will increase the stability..kekeke
after finalize, then will reduce back if stable.kekeke

HTT link speed n HTT is the same thing ryte? n i shud juz leave it at default 800MHz value eh? btw since im not touching or OCing the ram at all( BE proc ma), i dun have to blend in prime95, juz the normal in-place large fft onli ryte?

Added on June 20, 2010, 12:22 amor ur HTT u mean the FSB?

HTT and HT different thing bro
As shown in cpu-z
HTT = bus speed
HT = HT link

HT default should be 2000mhz hmm.gif

wait.. HTT (BUS SPEED) is the one that stock at 200mhz..HTT x multi = CPU freq
another 1 is HT link..both is different thing..
HTT x HT multi = HT link speed..

i wonder what board u use eh? y stock at 800mhz?
since both u and i donno what FFT used to stress the IMC alone, i suggest to blend.. so it will stress both CPU + IMC inside ( and ofkos ram included)
or wait tomorrow for sifu to come out ( i doubt they will..since most of them esp Ah_khoo and cloudwan only spam here during office hour laugh.gif laugh.gif )

owh typo up above, did not mean HTT link, but HT link multiplier and volt

Added on June 20, 2010, 12:38 amso repost question with correction, do i need to play around wif the HTT link speed and voltage? coz never saw anytin bout tat in the phenom II guides..(not talking bout HTT or cpu-nb)

kekeke..so the 800mhz is the idle C&Q state for ur CPU right?
newer mobo where got stock at 800mhz.. if my mobo ye la...stock at 1000mhz..kekeke
i usually alter the width only..16.i donno the benefit..but like the number instead of auto.. others seldom touch.. only sometimes the volt..
if u want to OC the HT link..go ahead..but just dont make it more than ur NB freq..if more, then u have to korek2 ur CMOS jumper lah..kekeke

edit:repost answered question

VDD is default voltage.. normally leave it auto..
CPU also have one.. not only CPU-NB..

we normally play with CPU-NB Voltage which is an offset of CPU-NB VDD Voltage

for example.. 1.35v + 0.025v

because not all cpu are equal..
maybe 1.4v + 0.025v etc

or maybe we can underclock the cpu by using it..

small ff = cpu only, blend = cpu (8-512k) + imc & ram (>512k) from what i know, but i'm not sure coz i'm a lazy ass when it comes to researchin... laugh.gif

Mobo confirm dh out dh, tp proc ngan psu xtau lagi, xde tempat nk test, haih....dh stable 3.9Ghz gatal nk kejar 4Ghz, haih....::
