hey im using phenom II 965 and currently using 770-c45 mobo, i plan to start to learn how to OC my proc, so any1 here can recommend me the best bang for the buck mobo tat i can get? (best bang for the buck doesnt just mean cheap ass here, it mean price per performance like in GC for 5850 )

u sure can meh? i to tis mobo can only support max 125 W of proc, not 140 W right?

so play aound wif multiplier, thn if reach max a.k.a kenot boot thn play around wif CPU voltage ryte? tats all eh, i no eed to learn anytin on the memory side?

why no one tageting Asrock 890GX Extreme 3 at only rm519??

better chipsets means better Overclocking ryte? like 4 example 890GX mobo will yield better.higher OC thn 880 mobo ryte? correct me if im wrong..

how do i noe when my mobo pvm is bad, or im stressing it 2 hard, takut la wanna OC my Phenom II 965 on my msi 770-C45, plan to learn OC on this board 1st b4 even planning to buy a new board.

btw did some research, sum say the chipster(NB) is not the main facor for better OC actually, but having better SB(750 > 710) is more important, like ultimately better SB results in better OC, agree?

man i wish i noe how to evaluate these stuff like u do, dunno how you learn all tis, i oso wanna learn, lead me the way plz

got abit prob la, if i CPU-z my mobo (MSI 770-C45), in the cpuz it will say im using SB750, but the msi website it says SB710, got bug in the cpuz?

wanna ask sifus around here, we noe some 7 series mobo can support Thuban proc with some bios update right, like 770-c45 for example..
the Biostar TA790GX A3+, can it support the thuban proc? also, can it do the ATI proc as main Graphic and have one Nvidia card as lone PhysX processor( im not talking bout Lucid) ?

yeah, chk PC zone price, tis mobo se some new caps, hi-C caps, if notice, look nicely at the socket

yeah i noe marketting gimmick, bt the caps look so freaking small n only msi mobo gne caps ini .

would luv 2 see ur verdict... ma theory , smaller caps == less heat == longer life == better OCing
btw the dr mos series on the 890fx-gd also use the same caps, u can check at thewebsite which so called "military class" stuff is implemented, some mobo dun hav all three feature, maybe only 1 or 2 or all 3
