» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this time it is really weird, i throw all the voltages to stock, vcore 1.325v (+0v) only rams @ 1.65v running almost 4hrs... tmpin2 = core temp minus ~2 °C tmpin1 = nb i think This post has been edited by dafreak: Mar 10 2010, 09:54 AM |

update: prime without any rounding errors for 12hrs already
Added on March 10, 2010, 6:22 pm QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Mar 10 2010, 10:39 AM) u'll be surprised how well it will fare once d im just looking to run @ 24/7 & scientific calculations then, proceed w/ 3 core, disable either core 2 or 3 (one at a time). try hittin 3.8~4.0GHz again w/ tri core, give what it takes to make it stable while fiddle around w/ acc for core 2 or 3 while leavin core 0 & 1 @ +2 or d preferred choice of ya core 0 & 1. then, disable d tested core & enable d other core usin same method. d purpose of this is to find d preferred acc value for those defective cores. finally, enable all cores & keep those acc values for each core that u've found earlier on. all that remained are voltage pumpin + fine tuning. it mite not work for u but worth a try. as for d temp issue, pls install easytune 6 (i supposed) from ya mobo cd, u'll have better idea what those temp referrin to. else pakai tembak aje... imo cpu temp should have d largest diff (min & max) if u start hwm b4 prime. nb min & max diff should not be as big, but not necessarily d lowest. case temp should be d lowest among all. that was done on tri core leh bro... Added on March 10, 2010, 6:24 pm QUOTE(antonio @ Mar 10 2010, 02:27 PM) can your rams run at 1600 CL7??? voltage around 1.71-1.74v i think it needs higher volts, although set @ 1.75v in bios but will show as 1.78-1.79v @ HWMIts nice actually for the temp not to bounce a lot.... QUOTE(rxy @ Mar 10 2010, 05:48 PM) erm..if like increasing the cpu core speed to 3.4GHz and increasing the NB speed and ram speed, does whole system speed increases as well?? 965BE stock is @ 3.4GHz Like wat antonio said before,if can oc till 3.6GHz,NB speed to around 2400 and HTT to above 2k,can faster than 965 stock..I think I am not going for 3.6GHz.Scare the system cant withstand..Must use 1.441Vcore to let it fully stable..Like not so worth it? sifus, i am wondering is this blend test useful?
min FFT size: 112k Max: 4096k Memory used: 3200M Interval: 1 minute tried @ 1600mhz 9-9-9 bluescreen after 1hr vcore: 1.325v, nb volt: stock (1.1v), cpu-nb-vid: stock (1.2v), vdimm: 1.7v analyzing the dump file shows cpu cache error |

can a read of L3 Cache slower than memory read cause any probs?
everest benchmark @ 1333mhz 9-9-9 L3 read is higher or about the same as memory read @ 1600mhz 9-9-9 L3 read is slower than memory read » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by dafreak: Mar 14 2010, 11:56 PM |

QUOTE(Lacus @ Mar 18 2010, 06:28 PM) @antonio, i think i want that mobo only way is to isolate it..maybe use AOD and OC core by core then stress it |
