I've read a few..but didn't found one about using AMD Overdrive but I've downloaded it already. Don't really know how to use. I want to push it a little further till maybe 3.8GHz. Using a Hyper 212 Plus now

yup bro, unfortunately it needs 1.5xv for > 4.1GHz prime stable, but this is definitely better than d predecessor where they need alot more volt for same clock while havin 2 less cores. not a drastical improvement but a welcome one for sure. nod.gif

i always use AOD for voltage tuning only, most of d time it's done at last stage where i wanna reduce d volt of finalized oc'ed setup. for start u can just play w/ cpu & cpu-nb multi (a 'lil) while leavin d rest (ram & ht link freq) untouched. wink.gif

it's not a must to use AOD coz how well it works really differ from board to board. iirc, cpu multi adjsut worked pretty well for my ex 790fxt, but make sure u increase d volt 1st b4 messin w/ cpu clock. bro cloudwan used to own this board, he mite be d perfect yoda to guide u. nod.gif

Ur playing in the bios or using AOD meh? Most of us would say play2 oc'ing in the bios 1st, use AOD only to fine tune a bit..
As ah_khoo said play with the cpu multi & the cpu volt 1st b4 learn to play2 with everything else smile.gif

Alright. I will test it right after I came back from my school. If I OVER-did the oc, would the system bootup? And what are the limit voltage I have to keep an eye on? 1.5V?

Also, did you mean I just play with the multiplier instead of the bus speed?

So the system wont go blow off..if it wont boot I just go back to BIOS and lower the multiplier down? (:

Either the System will reset for you OR you have to clear the CMOS by yourself smile.gif

No boom or whatsoever..

Try using these settings, oc milage may vary but u can use it as a guideline ah: smile.gif
Disregard the ram's settings tho, just leave ur ram at stock setting..

For Prime95, if using CPU Tweaker, set the tFAW to 30 smile.gif
