erm, for me, i was thoroughly impressed by the maxis 3G network speed.

and i need to be connected to the net perpetually.

hence given a choice, i will still stick to maxis, albeit the more costly option

1. i usually just email the documents to myself (you can view microsoft files within the mail app itself) or if i need them perpetually, i will just store the files in my mobileme's iDisk.

2. don't think it is possible. however you maybe able to harness the digital camera folder (accessible when you plug in the USB cable to the PC/MAC) even though i'm not sure if that will corrupt the folder.

My iphone 2g cant update my location on via WiFi or EDGE (DiGi) , last time on EDGE can give nearest location. Already turn on Location Services.

I really need it to update my location correctly as i am on Foursquare.

It was shows my location in New York, US when im in KL, Malaysia.

Too bad.. coz i organize pages based on categories, so all my games is in page 7 page 8.. when want to play games need to scroll to them.. not much problem but gets annoying if you do it all the time haha

Get iFiles from apps store.. costs 99 cents but totally worth your money.. can transfer files between iphone and laptop using wifi connection (if you have one that is).. can read mostly used files like jpg, txt, pdf, mp3, microsoft's excel,word,powerpoint...

I did.. but it kinda intermittent.. when i first got the phone, it was there.. i jailbreak it, it was still there.. i enabled the tethering once and after that it's gone.. restore is back to original firmware, it's still not there.. jailbreak it again, it's back.. and in between then and now, i've restored and jailbreak for numerous times.. testing jb tools.. and now i dun even bother whether it's there or not..

btw.. i've did the carrier bundle and tethering enabling thingy..

yes.. it's call internet tethering.. if u're not experiencing like what i did as mentioned above.. u would be seeing that option in Settings > General > Network

1. Yes by using 3rd party application.

2. Yes. Other than those suggested in previous posts, I've been using Discover Pro. It uses wifi connection to transfer documents and files from iPhone > PC > iPhone.

iPhone's touch screen is quite responsive and sensitive.. u can just flip through the pages by sliding faster.. not too much of effort to do that..

i know that keep asking the same question over and over again is annoying and irritating, i experienced this in other forum as well, so i did my job before i put my question here. I did search for the answer and unfortunately i unable to get the answer. i did read the pinned thread, and another thread discussing about batter, however i couldn't get the answer and tht's y i post my inquiry here. Maybe im not good in searching or something.

yes, i got the info about fully charge iPhone and then straight away drain it. jz tht i doubt abt the timing of charging.

Me too, the only thing i miss in my old n82 is the garmin mobile xt sad.gif other than that.. Iphone all the way smile.gif

hi guys, can i ask some things bout my iphone.

1. i use my iphone connect to wireless and dl things but the speed only 10kbps. my fren use the same internet connection but he can get 60kbps. is it something wrong with my phone?

2. another thing is i used papago. but when i on it, my current location is at kl city area. i allowed to use current location but still never come to my place. any idea why? and is there any settings in the iphone that we can choose to use A-GPS or just GPS?

A-GPS is really hard to get our "Location Service"
my iphone also cannot detect my location..

A: For those of you who have who accidentally click or did a "Reset All Settings" or "Erase All Content and Settings" or stuck at boot logo for a long peroid of time, please refer to the steps below to restore your iPhone: *Please download the firmware to your desktop before you proceed.

1. Make sure the iPhone is not connected to the computer.
2. Close the iTunes application and re-open it again.
3. Plug the usb bit to the computer
4. Hold the "home" button of the iphone
5. Now plug the dock connector bit to your iphone (without letting go the home button)
6. Await for further instructions on the screen and then release the "home" button.
7. Hold shift and click restore for Windows users and select the firmware. Hold Alt/Option button and click Restore for Mac users and select the firmware.
*For 2G iPhone, after restoring your firmware, you need to jailbreak and unlock using Pwnagetool or Quickpwn to have a full function phone.
*For unlock 3G iPhone, you can jailbreak your iPhone if you choose to.


and it still can't work

I always get instant lock down when using papago.. I don't know why also smile.gif i on the papago and next few seconds it found my location.. so happy heh
