mikelim89:Bro, cool down.... i know yr frustration but simply ask for a replacement unit. Tell them u tried restore, DiGi staff tried, and still failed..... u donwan to wait another 3/4 hours only to exchange...

Electronics purchases are by luck.... u got a lemon, so quickly demand an apple... brows.gif brows.gif its not DiGi that made the phone....

Hope u can settle it by tomorrow and enjoy yr smart phone....

LTN: Check with yr fren what did he use the phone for when the batt died after 8 hours? If you dont use iPhone but for calls and sms, it can last you 2-3 days depends on usage...

But if u use it - Safari + WiFi, Ipod + Stereo Bluetooth Headset, Navigation + GPS, Games - any combination continuously, the batt will not last as these apps takes up much power....

The above was how i "killed" my batt in 4 hours...... laugh.gif laugh.gif

iDigi 88 + iPhone 3GS 16GB

EPP24:
RM158.65 x 24 = 3807.60 <-iDigi88(24mth) + iPhone
RM3807.60 - (RM88 x 24 x 105%) = RM1590.00 <-iPhone only

EPP36:
RM105.77 x 36 = 3807.72 <-iDigi88(24mth) + iPhone
3807.72 - (RM88 x 24 x 105%) = RM1590.12 <-iPhone only

Cash:
RM88 x 6 x 105% = RM554.40 <-iDigi88(6mth)
RM554.40 + RM1590 = RM2144.40 <-iDigi88(6mth) + iPhone

RM2144.40 - (RM88 x 6 x 105%) = RM1590.00 <-iPhone only

iDigi 138 + iPhone 3GS 16GB

EPP24:
RM190.32 x 24 = 4567.68 <-iDigi138(24mth) + iPhone
RM4567.68 - (RM138 x 24 x 105%) = RM1090.08 <-iPhone only

EPP36:
RM126.88 x 36 = 4567.68 <-iDigi138(24mth) + iPhone
4567.68 - (RM138 x 24 x 105%) = RM1090.08 <-iPhone only

Cash:
RM138 x 6 x 105% = RM869.40 <-iDigi138(6mth)
RM869.40 + RM1090 = RM1959.40 <-iDigi138(6mth) + iPhone

RM1959.40 - (RM138 x 6 x 105%) = RM1090.00 <-iPhone only

iPhone price have no different on all plans. Just rounding errors.

Yes, most smartphones drains battery fast when running apps, games, and especially GPS (my N97 drains as fast when i run Garmin or Ovi Maps)... not sure abt HTC Legend but i'd assume itto be same...

Unfortunately, APPLE INC has seen fit that the iPhones' battery is NOT user replaceable... so only solutions are:-

Bring your USB cable and adapter everywhere, so u can plug it into a PC/notebook/wall plugs when yr juice are low...

Buy a car charger and charge it in your car... be warned not to get a cheapo unbranded charger as it MAY fry your charger board.... get a reputable branded one if you donwan to pay an APPLE premium...

Buy an external juice pack that recharges your iPhone battery (Mili, Morphie, etc)...

Not really. If you know how to present your case and stand firm, you will be able to submit your phone for warranty claim. But the warranty card is a must.

bt during tat time.. there is another person wanna go for warranty as well.. she oso buyin from 3rd party.. bring along warranty card as well.. bt she is nt the phone registered person end up can't go for warranty.. i heard the CS told her tat the registered person haf to be present.. perhaps diff CS diff management.. i dunno..

Hmm..not very sure..i went to Digi Specialized Store...
I make the once off payment. However, they dont accept Maybank Amex card. Only Visa & Master.
Thought of getting double points for using Amex, but end up use Visa.

Black or White? Well, on basis a branch wouldn't be keeping a lot of replacement unit. If I'm right, they will keep at least 3 replacement units of each model (judging from experience but not facts). If I remember correctly, there are 3 branches in KL which operates from 10am to 10pm. Times Square, SoHo KL and forgot the other one.

You can actually claim your replacement at any branch. I would personally suggest SoHo KL to avoid the crowd in Times Square smile.gif

Successfully ported over in less then 8 hours at Time Square.

Heard that the stock in Time Square just finish and fastest the stock will arrive tomorrow (cross my fingers).

Any know if Pavilion has stock for 16GB? White or Black doesn't matter to me.
