Yesterday, I purchased my Iphone from Digi. After that, I do it as usual by charge my phone for 8 hours. Besides, i also took out my Sim Card from Iphone(transfer contact). 8 hours later, i insert bck my Sim Card. But, i dono why, my phone keep cant read the SIm Card . I keep take out n insert it by couple of times. Few times later, I tried to connect my Iphone with PC. While my iTunes read my phone, it pop up that said i hv to restore my phone to factory setting. So i just download the restore files from iTunes. When the download is done, i pressed the restore. While restoring, it pop out an error again which state that my phone cannot be restored becoz of error '23'. This time, i really worried about my phone... How can this thing happen to me even i hvnt use the phone. I got class today till 3pm bt the Digi Centre just open till 1pm (coz saturday). Now i really nid Lyn member teach or tell me what should i do or what i hv done it wrong? Or i just take it to Digi dealer?

Ok. I called digi hotline 1 hour ago. It is all right?

Okok. I also blur at that time. iTunes asked me to reset to factory setting so I just follow. HOpe trouble won't happen...

oic... i am glad to listen about this... i dono how to jailbreak coz tis is my 1st time touch Iphone I hope i will enjoy Iphone in future

Haih... i am so disappointed on Digi rite now ... Just collect from my Iphone from Digi Specialized Store(i know this is not their problem and they still serve me nicely) and he said they can't solve this problem... they asked me to go to Digi Centre to repair it. How can a person so unlucky like me? Just bought a brand new phone and cannot use it (problem came after i charged my phone for 8 hours)... Am i bought a decoration Iphone??? Can see but cannot use... Some more it is happen on the weekend... Arhggg!!! Still need to wait till Monday!!! I don't care!!! I hope they won't drag the period for repair my phone for so long!!!

2 days ago(friday), i subscribed my 1st Iphone 3Gs in my life from Digi. I subscribed from a Digi Specialised Store. The staff asked me to charge it for 8 hours as usual so i just followed. Before i charged, i took out my Sim Card from phone. 8 hours later, I inserted back the Sim Card to Iphone and switched it on. While the Phone is running, it show it cannot read my Sim Card.    So i just keep took out n reinsert it for couple of times. Besides, i also inserted my another Telco Sim Card to try whether my Digi Sim Card got problem anot(now i still using it for another phone... can work). But, Iphone show that it can't detect for both Sim Card too . So, i just connected iPhone with iTunes by using my PC. This time, iTunes showed that it can't detect the phone as well. It asked me to reset my phone to factory setting. So, i just press the Restore button. After i pressed it, my iTunes download the restore file. So i just wait for 1 hour to finish downloading it. 1 hours later, I press the Restore button again. While it was reseting my phone, it pop out something and written in the box that 'The iphone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (23)' (only this number of error appeared on that time) and reseting procedure is stopped. This time i really worried and angry on this iPhone that i purchase . So i just called to Digi Hotline(that time about 7 to 8+am). I told her that i got this kind of problem on my Iphone. She asked me to send back to Digi Centre or Digi Specialised Store. She told me that Digi Centre is open for half-day on Saturday. Since i got class from 9am - 3pm, so i just send it back to the Digi Specilised store where i purchased it.
I find back the guy who served me on that day i purchased the phone to tell him what happen my phone. He told me that he can tried to check what happen to my phone but if the problem cannot solve by him, i need to send to Digi Centre. So i just asked him to try. He did the same step as what i did by connect to iTunes and download the restore file (few hours for download that file). He asked me to walk around and came back 3 hours later. Since it is 3 hours, i just return to my home for rest. 3 hours later, i went back to the Store and he told me that he cant solve the problem. Since he quite friendly, i just took it and wait till Monday.
Just now, i called to Digi Hotline again and told the Digi Consultant(Friendly) about my problem again. He told me that Digi Centre is open 7 days a week for KL Branch   . Besides, he told me that Digi got a department for Iphone problem. I just told him everything and he told me that Iphone department will contact me ASAP. Now i am waiting the call from Iphone Department... I hope they can call me in today. I just feel that why I so unlucky that the phone i just purchased will having a problem. I keep thinking that am i purchase a wrong phone? Anyway, they quite friendly. But i just hope, I want my Iphone can be used from tomorrow(since now it is 7pm) PLEASE DIGI  Counting on u~ My money  ~ Now i feel that the iPhone i purchased like a dummy set... Can touch but cannot use... Decoration

Haih... Actually before i purchase this iPhone i got thinking whether i should go for Android or Apple. But since my sister got her Legend, so i just picked iPhone. But now... Speechless~

How to compare? my iPhone cant even use from the day i bought it...

I just returned from Digi Centre. I am very frustrated now. I still need to wait for 2-3 more days to get a new set. How can they never have a proper restock system? wait! wait! wait! I don't care! I already told them i need a replacement set on Wednesday! Hope No more delay anymore!!

I went to Taipan branch this morning. I purchased white colour one but he told me both colour also out of stock. Around 11am++ I don't know their sales is so good.

Oic. I hope tomorrow got replacement unit for me

i gave them my contact. I got told them that i need it tomorrow because tomorrow is the only day i don't have any classes. I try to control my patience but so hard for me to take it that the phone i just purchased with a problem.

The new IPhone is sealed in a box when i purchase it and the dealer open it for me. If no mistaken, he got connected the iPhone to his PC when i purchased it. As i stated before, the phone only not working after i switched off and charged it for 8hours. Before i charged the phone, there is no problem on it.

Added on May 12, 2010, 1:41 amAre u talking about me? If me, i can tell u that i not this kind of person u mention above. Why should i need to spend my saving on buying and selling my wanted thing? I am SURE that i not the person who wants to sell it off as sealed item to fetch a higher price. Whether u wan to believe it or not, is up to u. I cannot show u my Heart that what i really doing right now. No matter what, i just want to try my own iPhone in my life.

Hurray!!! Just got my replacement Iphone from Digi SS2. Thx for Digi Taipan coz he help me ask whether other branch got replacement unit or not. Time to charge it for 8 hours again~ Hope nothing is happen anymore~ ^^

Really? He asked to charge for 8hours... Actually everytimes i can't even tahan for that 8 hours. I normally will on bck my phone after 3 hours charged

Agree... After i got my White Iphone, i felt regret 1st it more suitable for female. Besides, normally ppl will choose white instead of black... So many white iphones in market( i tink)

u can connect ur phone with wifi to download tat file, then u no nid to download from iTunes via computer. Thats all
