The system and teaching facilities - 10/10 no question about it. UON has a reputation to protect and there's no way they will compromise on this part. Very obvious from the way teaching and stuff are conducted.

For the parts of the university not under the jurisdiction of UON (halls, SA, etc), i say 6/10. Definitely a lot can be done to improve. It's not really terrible, but definitely not what one would expect from a UK-style university.

Guys,
First of all I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.
I was planing to go to Nottingham UK campus but due to financial limitations,I can only go to the Malaysia campus.(for bachelor studies)
I wanted to know that do i receive the *exact* same degree from the Malaysian campus as if I were studying at UK ?
If so,then may I ask why the Malaysian campus cost less ?

but isnt it sorta too easy, i just MS Excel plot the graph and find the gradient and intercept. I also have to draw diagrams of convex and concave lenses, so i just use the drawing and shape tools in MS Word?

usually graph if with data points, then you need to use excel to plot it out. lol don't let the 'it's easy' fool you. Usually it's the details that get your marks deducted.

Though diagrams sometimes it's better/easier to be hand drawn.

UNMC is not that stupid/stubborn one. As long as it's your own work, whichever way you wish to do also ok one. Of coz the purpose of them asking things to be typed out is to train you to use MS Office.

So is it the same?

I've read the first page and learned that accreditation isn't that important in Malaysia but is the Masters of Engineering in Nottingham recognized by the engineering boards of Malaysia?

Also, for those that are studying there, how did you guys settled the financial need to study there? (I'm assuming you guys aren't filthy rich)

How much is it to live there every month? Inclusive of accomodation, food, entertainment etc.

hi, i want to ask about the high achievers scholarship. on the uni of nottingham website they said the criteria is 3As for alevels and stpm and 7As for uec. How about for those who take other pre-u courses like sam, ausmat or ib? Are they eligible for the scholarship?
