There's no imposed dressing code. It's all entirely up to you. But I'd advise to dress decently.

I don't think that's the student number. It looks more like the course code.

Why do you need student number? I believe when you accept the offer, you gotta include the application reference number.

@tanjinjack:I already sent to my hall tutor regarding the problems yet nothing can be done according to them.

@ArianneG:I think Pioneer is still dominating.Cause I personally think that both companies are the same from the root.

V3 already, congrats congrats!!

I think the main page needs to be updated.

More courses should go under Jan intake, not to mention that there are a few new courses already.

http://www.nottingham.edu.my/Students/Cale...lendar0809.aspx
http://www.nottingham.edu.my/Students/Cale...lendar0910.aspx

08/09 academic year - Dec 29 - 7 Jan
09/10 academic year - Dec 21 - 10 Jan

So from the above, you can roughly determine the study week for the coming new academic year of 10/11

Oh, that's because in the 08/09 calendar they categorised term break and study week into two, whereas in the 09/10 calendar they merged it into 1 section. Therefore you can safely say that it's almost the same. The difference in total days is 3 days.

Therefore, based on that analysis, the 10/11 term break should be Monday, 27 December 2010 till Sunday, 2 January 2011. And the Study week would be Monday, 3 January 2011 till around 9th January. Exams should start +/- a few days from there.

hmm..the term break should be Monday, 20 December 2010 as the past 2 years are almost the same week.

To seniors who are taking pharmacy currently, may i know after successfully graduating from the uni of nottingham, can we work in the UK without coming back to malaysia first and be registered as a pharmacist in malaysia? or we must undergo a 3-year compulsory service in the gov hospital in malaysia before we are allowed to go UK and practise as a registered pharmacist there?

pls anyone?

Does anyone know what is the required marks for SAM to study undergraduate engineering or pharmacy in this campus? Cant seem to find that in the website. They only gave the entry requirement for courses like A Levels and STPM.

Hello guys, student here reporting in. UNIM is quite lenient on which exams you take. As long as you get above B in your CGPA, they allow you in.

I got in with a foundation certificate from UIAM. Currently a second year in Chemical Engineering (I don't really like this course, what can I do? It was the only choice I had because I was one of the first few to try out the January Intake programme. So I'm graduating after BEng and take up MSc in E&E Engineering).

Hmm what can I say... THEY MADE THE EXAM A LOT MORE DIFFICULT FOR MY BATCH vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif .

Food? UIAM is cheaper and more choice IMO. Drinks also more choice in UIAM.
Freedom? Definitely more than UIAM, though freedom doesn't really matter to me (I'm a muslim smile.gif . I don't go out to get a drink or something. Only for personal requirements or programmes).
Education? A lot of self-work. You'll not survive being lazy( and I am lazy sad.gif ).
Posting this in the uni's computer room so I'm gonna get tracked I guess. Oh well.
Also, 3 years for a degree(instead of 4 years)? I love it drool.gif . I don't really need Ir, I don't plan to stay long in the chemical industry anyway.

Before I forget, price? Of course la more expensive, lol. I'm surviving on the discount the uni give me. If my grades get lower, I'm out. Quite a good motivation, I must say sweat.gif

Internet is kinda slow too. doh.gif
Bradford whatever security they put on your laptop, doesn't work with linux. Any bypass for this?
