Definitely giving it a try. My family can probably afford up to RM300/mo if necessary, though I hope it's half that price. We've got 4 computers at home and 1.5Mb/s isn't cutting it.

Why not take some(or all) of the money sponsoring MU and improve our broadband service in Malaysia?
TM really don't give a shit about their customers and only want maximum profits..... |

pls stop the price speculation unless you've got solid evidence, cos i just spoke to my ex-school mate who's working in TM & is involved in the development of the IPTV service.. & even he doesnt know what the price will be. apparently its a tightly kept secret. But 1 thing is for sure, there will be 3 packages for home users:
- 5 mbps basic package, internet only no value added service - 10 mbps w/ iptv & phone - 20 mbps w/ iptv & phone what he says is that the iptv n stuff is just a value added service, so don't expect too much from it. cheers |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Mar 13 2010, 02:46 AM) that was what he told me, was kinda surprised too cos i expected it all to be upwards of 10mbps.. i guess we'll just have to wait till the horse speaks. honestly, knowing the way TM operates, ain't expecting much, but fingers crossed 4 the time being.. |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Mar 13 2010, 01:46 AM) actually just having 5Mbps with no value added services is good for TM..since some ppl dont need the services..or the speed..so it gives them a small range of freedom in choosing packages..instead of just forcing the customers to pick a 10Mbps with all the value added services and having them complain about it later.. |

QUOTE(automan5891 @ Mar 13 2010, 12:08 AM) Yeah, at first the people who are in charge of finalising the price decided RM150 for 10mbps package, but they soon learn that their boss just make agreement with ManUtd and rm150 just won't cut it. Probably rm250 now. LoL |

from TM site
HSBB Services Fibre to the home or building will enable High Speed Internet access of 10Mbps and above. Find out what type of services will be delivered on this infrastructure. I thought is minimum 10Mbps and above?? |
