yeap, almost a whole day.. kinda depends on the amount of wiring needed for ur house.. the installation of the hardware (modem, router and btu) itselft should take little time.. pulling the fiber cable from the tel. pole should take quite some time since the fragile nature of fiber optic cables.. my installation took 2 days.. 1st day they came and did all the drilling and hardware fixing, the 2nd the pulled the fiber cable...
they chose me, mainly because of subscribing streamyx for a very long time (practically since it's been out)  my area has at least 3 ppl testing out hsbb..

i got a letter HAND DELIVERED to my house by TM staff.. the letter says congrats on being chosen to have a FREE trial of the service for a few months time.. u dont really have to do anything once u got the letter, just wait for TM staff to call u.. in my case it was 2 days after i got the letter... installation was approx 1 week after the call..

went to tm point today. Asking there if i can be the test and buy user or whatever they called. Unfortunately, the test an buy is over. There are installing for the try and buy user starting today in Shah Alam.

Since I cannot test their HSBB, so I sign up for their HSBB. If my area is supported, then tehy will call me if still interested to join or not. I just give my name, later after, if the price is right, I will subscribe to them.

About the HSBB, I ask the customer support at TM point regarding HSBB. Regarding the IPTV, she said that at first, they will be 9 channels including RTM1, RTM2 and donno what else. She said the minimum speed for HSBB is 20mbps. Now, I just wait for them to call for pricing. Hope it will be cheap. Hope to be below RM160

why TM dose not give home user use >50mbps ? scare people hacking and can't trace? because to fast?

Just found out from their hotline that TTDI is not fully covered yet. Hopefully when HSBB goes official this would not be the case.
