Based on the screenies latency issue is still not fixed. Ping to US and EU seems good but a bit high for asia-based servers. Hope its fixed cause high latency to singapore or japan is ridiculous :|

Bear in mind HSBB is in T R I A L or B E T A, so there're still testing them. Don't judge too quickly on things thats not even finished. We will just have to wait and hope these problems will be ironed on when they are release (doubt it'll happen ).
Subscribed about a month ago. I must say it's not bad, however, through speedtest.net, the connection usually shows download 0.60mbps - 0.70mbps then suddenly shoots up to 7.00mbps ~ 20mbps.
Upload speed still remain same? 430Kbps? No higher? :/
Have you asked them whether they will offer a package with higher upload speed? Kinda useless having a broadband with 20Mbps download but less than half megabit for upload
Trial user of course since the "official" pricing hasn't been release. You know TM la, say "nationwide" but house near big city area also no 4Mpbs, lol

It's still in beta stages. Cacat here, there and everywhere is to be expected. Once they actually offer the package to end user, that's when we can start complaining about stuff. It'll get better no doubt. Just wonder if it'll be streamyx case again over time when users grow, the jalan still the same size.
Agreed, still beta so lots bugs here there.
Seems streamyx 4Mbps starting to show some performance deterioration, sometimes even worst than 1Mbps. First its vroom vroom now its QQ, hope HSBB gonna be better.
how do you make ur To client: TCP opened and UDP opened?
is that a trick question? just turn off router and your computer's firewall, nah siap. but your vulnerable to attack from outside, so enjoice formating your comp.
Hope it comes out with around... 200??? then i got 7 ppl to share... 200/7=?? around 30 bucks/person. Worth it!!!
theres a reason why the pricing is not yet revealed, its not gonna be cheap. the lowest it can go is definitely a bit more than current 4Mbps subscription which is more than RM160 (maybe in the RM180+ range for home users for the lowest package).
plus with the setup fees and everything it will definitely deter non-tech savvy ppl who is already satisfied with their current broadband needs and saying why pay more for the same thing (check email, read news i.e. moderate internet usage).
pls stop the price speculation unless you've got solid evidence, cos i just spoke to my ex-school mate who's working in TM & is involved in the development of the IPTV service.. & even he doesnt know what the price will be. apparently its a tightly kept secret. But 1 thing is for sure, there will be 3 packages for home users:
- 5 mbps basic package, internet only no value added service - 10 mbps w/ iptv & phone - 20 mbps w/ iptv & phone
what he says is that the iptv n stuff is just a value added service, so don't expect too much from it. cheers
Why everyone choose 5M? kena capped liao so choose 10M so you get 5M when capped, genius
hey guys, i wanna ask. my housing area (USJ) doenst equipped with those white boxes on the pole yet. if I go to TM point and ask them to install HSBB trial, is this allowed and can be done?
no, they got their own schedule and they're gonna stick to it. unless your a dato/tan sri/vip then they'll just ignore your request even if you want to pay them. the HSBB trial is offered by them, so if your not offered, dont bother asking as they will most likely wont entertain you.
long story short, no hsbb then nothing you can do, just wait till they move their asses and install it. they have their own schedule and they will not give higher priorities to your area just because you request it.
not so many ppl use of course la fast. after 1-2 years we'll see how HSBB is going to be, nah make it half a year and see how the performance will be. i bet you'll shitbrix lmao.
