QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Mar 12 2010, 01:06 AM) Hope it comes out with around... 200??? then i got 7 ppl to share... 200/7=?? around 30 bucks/person. Worth it!!! theres a reason why the pricing is not yet revealed, its not gonna be cheap. the lowest it can go is definitely a bit more than current 4Mbps subscription which is more than RM160 (maybe in the RM180+ range for home users for the lowest package). plus with the setup fees and everything it will definitely deter non-tech savvy ppl who is already satisfied with their current broadband needs and saying why pay more for the same thing (check email, read news i.e. moderate internet usage).

QUOTE(AaronXavier @ Feb 27 2010, 07:49 PM) HSBB Price starting from June 2010 5mbps for rm30/month 10mbps for rm50/month 25mbps for rm100/month 50mbps for rm180/month 3.6mbps (with wireless usb modem) for rm30/month 14.4mbps (with wireless usb modem) for rm70/month so? you all saying March ~24 HSSB price, so i think at March expansive, but in June, it will cheap? plus, dose TM have more >10mbps?

QUOTE(aerobowl @ Mar 6 2010, 12:55 PM) i also curious when TM will announce the pricing.. if fiber is immune from lightning then is cool as so far in 36mths i had 2 motherboards were stroke but lightning and burnt my LAN chip My housing estate in Johor has been using an underground fiber optic system since more than ten years ago. The short connection from a main underground cable behind the house to the phone socket is probably using copper. There is no wire exposed. All wires are either underground or in the wall. A few years ago, my ADSL modem and a powerline Ethernet adaptor connected to it were still burnt, probably due to lightning, as I cannot find another reason for the connector to turn black. QUOTE(xXAaronXx @ Mar 12 2010, 10:18 AM) Does this HSBB still need phone line to use? No, but it includes a phone line as part of the service. I suppose the difference is relatively academic.

NO... we don't need to bring pendrive... Copying through HSBB will be more convenient but maybe at a lower speed. But since is local to local. Shd not be bad too. maybe 3~4MBps is nice enough. Lolz

QUOTE(xts @ Mar 12 2010, 12:55 AM) It ok.maybe pengiranijam confused with dat pic. .......... VDSL still based on IP Msan platform (same with streamyx) Just with different service 'Card' & config ++. And this VDSL use the VDSL service card I have no doubt that the picture, that system being used back to end-user. No wonder lah, well, at least wait some more till complain from customer.
