QUOTE(lugiamcg @ Feb 23 2010, 02:41 PM) F58 produces 58GN particles as 42 to only 42GN particles. So your subject will exposed to more radiation on F58 over F42 LOL j/k but yeah, the F58 produce higher flash power over F42 The numbering is actually the GN(?) rating of flash power |

On A550 and lower models, to trigger other flash wirelessly is by using the camera built in flash or using a dedicated commander. |

Does it mean that a700,850 n 900 can only activate one F58 through wireless? Then, subsequently the F58 will trigger available flashguns? |

If u are using F42 and F58 with TTL, same batt and same environment, the recycle time should be the same right?Recharging time improved by a lot! it can strobe too I still cant figure out how to Trigger my F42, using my F58 on my A700.. try multiple ways but f42 doesnt seem to fired.. Btw, what do u use strobe for? i duno what to do with that function just my 2 cents This post has been edited by Sp00kY: Feb 23 2010, 05:35 PM |

clivengu: LOL why do you have a Korean manual?
Press the Fn button until you see either CTRL, RMT or RMT2. Set F58 to CTRL, press Fn, set Ratio On. If it's not in Channel 1, hold down the Fn button for 3 seconds then go through the menu (quite obvious, this one.) Set F42 to WL on, channel 1. Set A700 to WL flash. Also, refresh time for F42 and F58 at 1/1 power are both 4 seconds. The F36 and F56 are slower. SpOOkY: For tracking motion on one single exposure. ![]() Or; ![]() Or; ![]() hkhk: You could keep it dull but add vignetting and adjust tones on the right. |

The F42 and F58 has the same recharge time of 4 secs after firing it at full power. And to answer your question, the recharge time may differ using a F42 and F58 if:What is different is the recycle time at the full output of F42 and F58. Right? yes? no? Btw, what do u use strobe for? i duno what to do with that function just my 2 cents The environment caused the F42 to fire at full power while the F58, with a higher GN, may not need to fire at full power to achieve the same exposure level. Using the strobe function you can create an effect like multiple exposures in a single frame on a moving object. Granted that you may not have the need to do this much but the function is still there should you need it. |

Tested e-jump's macro lens. Quite OOF on F2. Thus why I sent my camera for servicing. Now if the problem persists, I think his lens hates my camera lol
