QUOTE(lwliam @ Feb 23 2010, 02:03 AM) yeah QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 23 2010, 02:50 AM) hkhk: Almost moody - she is too well-exposed. I raise up my hand and use use live view .Will fix the horizon later on. thanks Banzai_san: I prefer #2 - #1's background is too busy. And yet the flower in #1 looks best. Oh well, try another flower. eddybeh: The Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro is meant to be used on FF while the Sony 30mm F2.8 DT Macro SAM is meant to be used on APS-C - the angle of view will be the same. 50mm on APS-C is not long enough for insects and not wide enough for food/product macro. Uzumaki NaruTo: Nice #1 but a bit more to the right would be better. And how tall are you in #2? #3 adjust the horizon in Photoshop. And don't fear high ISO - if it's well-exposed it is not a problem. destfull: That's why Sony has 2 sensors for Live View - the upper Quick AF Live View one is the one that will endure long exposures. If you find hot pixels you can use the Pixel Mapping function in your menu. lwliam: Nice! Without too much nitpicking you caught the moments so all is good. |

QUOTE(wingster @ Feb 23 2010, 12:13 AM) nice shot!! but I prefer focus her much more than focus on the M16 Rifle .... i'm actually spot AF on her eye.. yeah, the rifle seems clearer than her faceQUOTE(albnok @ Feb 23 2010, 12:26 AM) e-jump: Nice! This is what the Sigma 28mm F1.8 is made for - closeups that look real. (Of course, stopping down would've helped.) Thanks for your opinion..i sometimes knocked her down for getting too close lol.. thats 1:2.9 for me >_< trying few stop down QUOTE(hkhk @ Feb 23 2010, 12:53 AM) nice one.. at F1.8 there is no obvious purple fringe? im not sure about purple fringe thingie, tempted to get this... maybe because its dark.. i will try on broad daylight.. or pass to albnok for testing since he knows what needs to be tested btw ![]() F8, iso800, 1/200, HSS strobing ![]() F5.6, iso400, 1/200, HSS strobing *click for larger* |

QUOTE(scph50004 @ Feb 23 2010, 12:43 PM) fuiyoo i no need uwa actually... just started using alpha so something cheap is enough... i'm considering SAL-28F28... is it good? The 28mm focal length is NOT WIDE when used on an APS-C body which is what the A3xx range of body is. Try turning your kitlens to 28mm and look through the viewfinder. Do you find that to be wide?On an APS-C you would need somewhere around 16mm focal range to be considered wide. 18mm on your kitlens is acceptable as wide but I personally prefer the 16mm on APS-C. You could try the 11-18mm for a UWA but that lens is not cheap. Wide angle and ultra wide angle lenses never come cheap. |
