finejava: Welcome back!

#1 is a lot duller than #2, why is that? Like #3 but #4 could've been far more zoomed/cropped. #7 from a lower angle and nearer point exaggerates size.

lwliam: Nice! Where was this?

braindead_fr3ak: Hmmm, I am not feeling your closeup shots. #2 needs fill light to the eyes stat. #3 looks like a wedding shot.

wingster: Wow! That is something you don't see every day.

alex_cyw1985: Nice #1 but #2 should be shot from directly in front to get a consistent pattern. Crop #4 to a square. #9 also from direct in front better. Other shots not so interesting.

achew: Not quite feeling it for the wallet shot or the portrait. Portrait is shot with a long lens hence the people in the background are nearly the same size as her.

hazril: Good shot, albeit overexposed.

Sheep319: The bokeh and slant does not make it look appetizing.

e-jump: Nice! This is what the Sigma 28mm F1.8 is made for - closeups that look real. (Of course, stopping down would've helped.)

scph50004: Cheap macro - Sony 30mm F2.8 DT Macro SAM - around RM7xx. Meant for food and product macro, not the insect kind of macro. Cheap wide is the Samyang 8mm F3.5 diagonal fisheye for RM12xx. biggrin.gif

VeRoN_7: Interesting #1 but the choice of background is very important to making that kind of effect.

#3 is almost there, try a different flower.

#4 is fresh, well done! Very unique and you have caught the fountain in almost its best colors.

if really wanna have an entry-level of Macro lens ... well there weren't available but the Macro Lens Adapter ... Raynox 250 may serve you for macro photography in a more budget way ....

Guys, is it too much using liveview will shorten the lifespan of sensor?

ahhhh... this is where as a alpha user, proud to say, it only applys sensor liveview that used by Nikon and Canon LV technology. this is where Sony Alpha surpass them in LV technology.

sony uses a dedicated additional sensor for LV, the main sensor is safe sitting behind the shutter.
but sony has several unit that able to expose the mainsensor for liveview for more accurate Manual Focus uses. that IF u plan to use MF. wink.gif

hkhk: Almost moody - she is too well-exposed.

Banzai_san: I prefer #2 - #1's background is too busy. And yet the flower in #1 looks best. Oh well, try another flower.

eddybeh: The Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro is meant to be used on FF while the Sony 30mm F2.8 DT Macro SAM is meant to be used on APS-C - the angle of view will be the same. 50mm on APS-C is not long enough for insects and not wide enough for food/product macro.

Uzumaki NaruTo: Nice #1 but a bit more to the right would be better. And how tall are you in #2? #3 adjust the horizon in Photoshop. And don't fear high ISO - if it's well-exposed it is not a problem.

destfull: That's why Sony has 2 sensors for Live View - the upper Quick AF Live View one is the one that will endure long exposures. If you find hot pixels you can use the Pixel Mapping function in your menu.

lwliam: Nice! Without too much nitpicking you caught the moments so all is good.

ah.. that is a relief for me since after I got a550 from a230 (which I lost it), I love using LV 80% of time because of its flexibility and more creativity on good angles (eg: don't have to baring2 to take a shot)
