#1 is a lot duller than #2, why is that? Like #3 but #4 could've been far more zoomed/cropped. #7 from a lower angle and nearer point exaggerates size.

alex_cyw1985: Nice #1 but #2 should be shot from directly in front to get a consistent pattern. Crop #4 to a square. #9 also from direct in front better. Other shots not so interesting.

achew: Not quite feeling it for the wallet shot or the portrait. Portrait is shot with a long lens hence the people in the background are nearly the same size as her.

hazril: Good shot, albeit overexposed.

Sheep319: The bokeh and slant does not make it look appetizing.

e-jump: Nice! This is what the Sigma 28mm F1.8 is made for - closeups that look real. (Of course, stopping down would've helped.)

scph50004: Cheap macro - Sony 30mm F2.8 DT Macro SAM - around RM7xx. Meant for food and product macro, not the insect kind of macro. Cheap wide is the Samyang 8mm F3.5 diagonal fisheye for RM12xx.

VeRoN_7: Interesting #1 but the choice of background is very important to making that kind of effect.

#3 is almost there, try a different flower.

#4 is fresh, well done! Very unique and you have caught the fountain in almost its best colors.

if really wanna have an entry-level of Macro lens ... well there weren't available but the Macro Lens Adapter ... Raynox 250 may serve you for macro photography in a more budget way ....

if not mistaken it can be use on the lens filter sizes from 52mm until 67mm

yeah SAL1855 can be used as well but I think when equip it .. is good to use between 35mm~50mm range

1870 will be  ...juz kidding...actually you can look for sigma 17-70 2.8(macro)

The 28mm focal length is NOT WIDE when used on an APS-C body which is what the A3xx range of body is. Try turning your kitlens to 28mm and look through the viewfinder. Do you find that to be wide?

On an APS-C you would need somewhere around 16mm focal range to be considered wide. 18mm on your kitlens is acceptable as wide but I personally prefer the 16mm on APS-C.

You could try the 11-18mm for a UWA but that lens is not cheap. Wide angle and ultra wide angle lenses never come cheap.
