Probably you didn't notice the "trrrr" before because it should be present even on day 1 when you bought the camera. The normal "trrrr" last for less than a second. If yours is "trrrrrrrrrrrrrrr%#$%@#$#$" , then there's something wrong....

If you're worried, better take to your shop and let them check it out lor...

from what i've read la kan bro....u need to take a series of photos like 30second exposure per shot....maybe take like 20 shots than merge in PS....correct me if im wrong....

i know.. tapi malas so just try with one exposure.. and failed miserably

I was not aware of any "trrr" sound and vibration when turning OFF my A550 before. I just notice them last nite... that's why so worried
But the trrrrr sound not long. Just a quick short trrrr and vibration. I guess its normal
I will try to visit sony shop in KK and try their A550 to see if there's the trrrrr sound and vibration when turning OFF the cam.
I might also bring my A550 to sony service in KK afterwards la

Does these things happen to other alphas too?

Banzai_san: its normal "trr" when turn off camera..my 550 have "trr" from first day i bought.

i also try demo set on sonystyle on tebrau. also have "trr". i ask promoter, they said that sensor cleaning mechanism on working.

the "trr" was confirm as common issue for A500/A550 series and I did asked before

as you mention but need to check for sure as all the A500/A550 will have the "trr" sound while switching off but only last in between 0.5 until 1 second long

and still depends your friend budget, if the budget was around RM2000~RM2500++, you may get for the Sony A500(not available in official shop) or A550 module

I would like to interpret this from a different perspective. At the background depicts what seems like an untouched beautiful natural environment. However, with the advancement of agriculture, a lot of land had to be cleared to sustain the Malaysian economy, depicted here with a cleared field and planted with Palm Oil seedling..... hence if I was to look at the full picture, I will think that we are already destroying our near future by destroying the fields nearby and planting Palm Oil for our own selfish gains.... when will our greedy selfishness stops? Do we have to destroy the maintains and have nothing left before we do something about this????

cant really actually know what is happening to the field by pics..sometimes the field that u see being destroyed is being an oil palm field itself..the reason it is being destroyed is becoz of replanting of oil palm..but well its hard to judge
