Button layout almost same with my a550.. honestly, I'm disappointed with its LCD..
Shooting video with articulating LCD is a great thing... and .. ahh dissaponted -_________- The superior a700 grip is gone.. Body like a550 only and joystick button tiru Canon 7D... Also, no MF Check LV? |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Feb 22 2010, 02:03 PM) destfull, how can u justify what you've said regarding the grip and joystick? its the same as the old A700 D-pad (joystick) and have u held the A7xx before? how would u know its not as comfortable if not more? Sorry.. my wrong, its not joystick, but the back layout.. almost like 7D.. but nvm, its just my own thoughts =)I always like a700 grip as it is really comfortable and looks more muscle =) |

Guys, is it too much using liveview will shorten the lifespan of sensor?
I've been reading comments on article at Digital Photography School - http://digital-photography-school.com/sony...w#comment-86344 This post has been edited by destfull: Feb 23 2010, 01:33 AM |

QUOTE(ieR @ Feb 23 2010, 02:38 AM) ahhhh... this is where as a alpha user, proud to say, it only applys sensor liveview that used by Nikon and Canon LV technology. this is where Sony Alpha surpass them in LV technology. sony uses a dedicated additional sensor for LV, the main sensor is safe sitting behind the shutter. but sony has several unit that able to expose the mainsensor for liveview for more accurate Manual Focus uses. that IF u plan to use MF. QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 23 2010, 02:50 AM) destfull: That's why Sony has 2 sensors for Live View - the upper Quick AF Live View one is the one that will endure long exposures. If you find hot pixels you can use the Pixel Mapping function in your menu. ah.. that is a relief for me since after I got a550 from a230 (which I lost it), I love using LV 80% of time because of its flexibility and more creativity on good angles (eg: don't have to baring2 to take a shot) |
