I dont know about others, but I feel I may have some problem in the creativity dept

However, in learning to broaden and expand my photography skill, style, knowledge etc... I try to vary my shots. For example, if I were to shoot a flower, I at times ask myself "how can I capture the view of this flower differently from what I and others normally see it? ".
Meaning, usually I look at a flower from the top looking down (for example). So, I try to change the perspective (viewing angle) and take a shot from different angle... such as at same level to the petals, or viewing from below, etc. I try to find a different way of looking at a flower... However, Im still not good at this as Im still learning
Similarly when shooting my cat or pet, rather than usually having the view looking from above and looking below towards the cat/pet (as we are taller than the pets)... I try to shoot at different angle such as shooting at eye level to the cat/pet, etc...
That's what Im trying to teach myself. Donno if that would help anyone though

thx 4 the infos..heh =D
but when i'm browsing through google pics, i think most of the POV have already been taken. We're kinda late actually.
Anyways, it's still worth a try

See you there
Seng_Kiat!
lugiamcg: Try to go for real photo exhibitions - The Annexe Gallery behind Central Market (if you're from KL) is a good start.
The photos there are 'deeper' than those you may see at camera fairs (where the pictures are just meant to be bright and colorful to attract buyers.)
A more philosophical photography-related blog is here:
http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/t...blog_index.htmlOo...the The Annexe Gallery. Heard of it b4, juz never been there =D One question, are cameras allowed to be in there?
