Honestly if performance M11x is not ur choice, is just for portable only... Gaming? NO!!!
M11x is made by plastic doesnt same as M15x(Magnesium), M17x(Aluminium).
M11x is just a marketing power, it is an 'ALIENWARE" which every one is afford to buy. Dell is just trying to gain more money......

nono , i know diff mobo , i mean the vga socket is the same ... makes little sense u cant fit unless heatsink la ...

having same MXM socket doesn't directly mean you can use any type of GPU for that.

there are several other factors that influence the compatibility of one hardware to another. don't ask me what are the factors, i don't even know. what i know is that fact is already proven true smile.gif

For those encountering the problem with shutdown ( restart shortly after it shuts down ) on M15x, the solution is to install
196.86 driver downloaded from laptopvideo2go.com and then make sure you run a clean uninstall of the previous driver ( using registry cleaner CCleaner and driver cleaner Driver Sweeper ),
this should solve the problem completely, do not install version 195.xx as they do not work.

Well normally when I game intensely, max is 85celcius
But my room was especially warm cos I was too lazy to get up from my beanbag to on the air con so even I was perspiring.... So the hot air combined with the gaming produced a new record for heat generated. Gaming was still same smile.gif

The frame rate is constant 20-30, what weird is on this game even the fps is as low as 15 it still very smooth for me. Ans i cant higher the resolution for this, no idea why it only stay 1280X720

Borderlands
Setting: 1366x766. All high setting with AA off.vsync On

Extremely smooth, stay between 50-60fps with vsync on. Never see it drop below 40fps. Looking foward to finish this game. biggrin.gif
