if is d same like the m17x , remove the back lid , only 3screws , then u c a silver plate , unscrew those 2 screws and that would be ur ram slot d

eh monkey , i didnt know r1 chasis can fit r2 mobo ... the heatsink for ur i7 proc is diff rite ? tat might change d heatflow @@ cuz ive already opened up my whole m17x and i can say , the inside is damn compact =.= no extra space even if i wanted add in copper platting
on my end , dell is agreed to replace mine with an r2 if there are still problems with my lappy when its back ... = =

afew sttuff la .. hmm i dun think ur m15x needs that extra copper platings , ur having high tempreture when gaming ? cuz my frens m15x nv went pass 68' ... Im getting 78' on most heavy games in a non air con room. Ur structure is different from the m17x , if not wrong , ur gpu can be access from opening the laptop behind ... very easily removed nia ... we m17x have to open our front ... the keyboard part to remove our gpu = = super big hassle if wanna do cleaning ... zzzz

try changing the thermal spread they provide with zalman's thermal grease , it should show some immediate effects to ur gpu heat ..

=.= and y didnt u send back dell ? my lappy was back in dell hospital 3 days after recieved ... ur 1 either gc misplaced , or gc boom d ...

5 working days ... format or not they will call u first d ... but probably wont format , just change 1 new gc for u

call ..... email would take god knows when =.= its already pass 5pm , if u call now , friday is the earliest they will come over ...

oh ... like that prepare monday d ... on site service u might get 2morow if ur real lucky ....

is not uncommon that d m11x is lacking in parts .. its selling like hot cakes sia = = well , if ur delay aint to long .. just bare with it ba ...

m17x its ur choice

i realy dun understand why dell just wont bring in the orion and this new 11' sleave to m'sia ... since we have so many aw users now ....

run vantage only graphic test with both lappy , then ask them post again

in dell work shop now , coming back latest tuesday next week.. those genius that fix up my lappy in kl workshop did a great job to killing my machine = = when i and the technician on site open up d machine , u can c the placement of the wires are out =.= and the chasis was not fit back correctly ... hope d 1's in penang are better la = =
the funny problem about my lappy is if my ac is plug into different power source , the performance is different =.= id shown the technician this and he also speechless , now they trying to figure out the problem in their workshop =_= if not , R2 will be on its way

well , i guese they didnt need such a powerful heat dispersion material for a netbook since the heat produce aint that high . considering u said only the bottom half , means all the air vends are below ? and all the parts can be access from the bottom ? curious in the design
