if is d same like the m17x , remove the back lid , only 3screws , then u c a silver plate , unscrew those 2 screws and that would be ur ram slot d
eh monkey , i didnt know r1 chasis can fit r2 mobo ... the heatsink for ur i7 proc is diff rite ? tat might change d heatflow @@ cuz ive already opened up my whole m17x and i can say , the inside is damn compact =.= no extra space even if i wanted add in copper platting 
on my end , dell is agreed to replace mine with an r2 if there are still problems with my lappy when its back ... = =

afew sttuff la .. hmm i dun think ur m15x needs that extra copper platings , ur having high tempreture when gaming ? cuz my frens m15x nv went pass 68' ... Im getting 78' on most heavy games in a non air con room. Ur structure is different from the m17x , if not wrong , ur gpu can be access from opening the laptop behind ... very easily removed nia ... we m17x have to open our front ... the keyboard part to remove our gpu = = super big hassle if wanna do cleaning ... zzzz

try changing the thermal spread they provide with zalman's thermal grease , it should show some immediate effects to ur gpu heat ..

The SFIV edition of those Hori fightpads are reported to have broken diagonals, so Shoryukens and Supers relying on those moves are a toughie. The best I've read are the USB Sega Saturn pads, but finding those are like finding buried treasure.

First week gone by, week number 2 of waiting for my All Powerful M15x to arrive
I got a Razer Deathadder, and I decided to skip getting a mousepad(was eye-ing the Razer Goliathus) because I already have a large mousepad I got from The Orange Box, which imo is pretty dang good.
I also got an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows, primarily because I want the dongle to play Guitar Hero with my Xbox controller. Also I guess it's nice to have a controller to use when I take the computer to college

As for the headset, I'm probably gonna pick up the Microsoft LifeChat sometime iono lol.

I got the one with the vanilla i7 CPU and the GTX260M. No customizations or anything, dad thought it was expensive enough =\
For Street Fighter I might pick up the MadCatz Fightpad or something which has a better d-pad. I played SF4 on my Xbox controller on the Xbox and I just totally failed in comparison to the stick or even the PS2 with the Dual Shock

Just ordered my m15x, now the dreaded 2-3 weeks of waiting

The basic set, only 720qm processor, 4 gig ram, 500 gig hdd but i did opted for 260xm. I just wish we can chose 280 though like the m17x

280 for the 5870    i dont mind paying

Thats why.. is suppose to decrease but why???
i set all the setting highest and the highest resolution too..
