You cannot surf web. it is fixed to, like Youtube, Picasa, etc....

Is there a Youtube? I din not see it in my POHD, it has only picasa, newsfeed, and flickr

Already mention at page 1 post# 5, don't update to latest firmware or those with new POHD with new firmware Youtube is removed maybe due to licensing. To get youtube back use the link provided on post #5 with hacked new firmware where there are 2 mode of youtube added after installation. Youtube popular featured videos and Youtube with search option.

Hey people, I just got my A.C Ryan PlayOn HD Mini 2 days ago and already suffered some problems and issues.

Some of my videos( all is usually anime 1080p movies) has the tendency to auto stop. Has anyone encounter a problem like this? By the way, my firmware version is v7.06.r2956.

Help is really appreciated because I took a long time to decide to purchase A.C Ryan over WD TV. =)

Nope, haven't experienced this problem. Have you tred playing them via another hard disk or a high speed thumbdrive?

Pls check disk first see whether hard disk got bad sector or MBR files clash. If no, pls check your movies file, any problem for the files?

I own a AC Ryan Plyon!HD and love the player.

As a novice to this player, can some experienced users advise on the followings?

1. I can only have srt. subtitles and not sub. What can I do to load the sub subtitle when watching a movie to my samsung LCD tv? The subtitle is in the same folder but not loading esp sub.

2. I am thinking of installing the latest firmware v7.06.r2901 asian version. Is it worth updating to this version? Can anyone advise of any flaws with this version? If I need to roll back to the older version, how do I do it?


I love this player as it is but if anyone can advise on the above queries to make it even a better machine, I would great appreciate it.
