guys i wanna ask about elite gold member. It says that we need at least 500k in order to become an Elite gold member. 500k means total money we have in PM or just pure capital? thinking to top up another 3k to become one though.
*
the 500K must be invest only in equity/balance funds, excluding the Bond/fixed income fund.

@mois
To be an ELITE member, you need to have 500K MQGP, means your capital as per what cheahcw2003 said.

So many years thinking to sign for this Public Mutual at last I'm make an appointment with a Public Mutual friend this Saturday about this investment. Can someone give me the pros and cons about this investment. No money to setup a business thinking to invest thru EPF to earn some cents. What do you think?

I've read from the following blog (http://mypublicmutualexp.blogspot.com/) that the China market will be going down. So it is expected that PCIF, PCSF and PCTF to drop in price. Any thoughts?

@elearning
You cannot time the market. Any market might observe a correction. I would recommend you to either lock in some profits, or if you are in a red territory, do some averaging.

I have already invested in China and I'm currently earning almost 10% profits. I'm thinking of taking in my profits and wait to see what other funds to invest in. Why do you say buy more units in China fund though?

Oooo ok. Thanks MNet.

guanteik: Yea. I'm thinking of taking in my profits. From the China graph, it has already reached it's year high. So I'm looking at a correction too. I don't really do dollar cost averaging because I don't believe in blindly investing in a fund every month. I invest a sum of money every month into PBond and I will wait until the equity funds reach year lows and invest in them. I don't time the market, but I can find out the year lows from the funds' graphs. How about you? How do you do it?

@elearning
Everyone has got their way of investing. For unit trust, I do dollar cost average. And sometimes a lump sum when i 'feel' the market is near bottom.
