Goto contact -> select contact -> edit contact -> change phone number type to Mobile

SMS/Messaging will select any contact numbers which labeled/typed as Mobile.

The problem is, if I have hundreds or thousands of numbers

I got this problem today
1.I try to bluetooth my phone with my friends nokia e?? (forgot which series), i can send picture to him, he can send pic to me, but when sending files like word, powerpoint, it failed.

2. When i try to bluetoooth my SE W660i with my N1, none of the file can be bluetooth? dunno why

3. when i bluetooth my n1 and my macbook, no prblem for any files.

Why is that??

hmm... actually i am just looking for a simple standby/screen lock, just serve exactly what the power button does.

Just reset APN and stick on WIFI same like I'm doing now

The problem is you will not able to send mms anymore. This is troublesome. I using apndroid and it worked nice. However I can't use my mms as usual. Each time I turn on my data connection to send mms, some app will start connecting to the net. And that mean money. Although in apndroid setting said can turn on mms only but that function not working with my DIGI. Maybe happen with digital only don't know how about other Maxis and celcom users. Anyway I uses mms a lot.

Anyone knows what is the problem with the touch screen?

Connected to WiFi, surfing no problem, but just cannot download app from Market, stuck at "Starting download..."

Yes, I also 'stuck' at Downloading App, but, it will successfully downloaded eventually.

Touchscreen: I already tried the SDK's Dev Tool app's Pointer's Location, and yes, I got similar result to the video.But, in normal use, I don't have any problem at all. So, it doesn't mean what the app shows to you is always true. Do read the comments in the video page too.

I also tried another app called Multitouch Visualizer (from Market), and this apps shows more accurate presentation of N1's multitouch, IMO.

I tried MagicMarker for you and it works just as it should. Holding down at any point and lifting, you get a point where you hold down. MagicMarker is not a multitouch app however, so if you're expecting it to plot separate points than that is exactly where your problem is -- it doesn't do that.

I also downloaded "Multitouch Visualizer" by Luke Hutchison from the market, and it works as expected.

Some people tend to wrap their fingers around the sides of the phone when holding it, resulting in their fingers touching he sides of the screen and registering as a touch. That's enough to confuse the phone. The way I hold it rarely gives me any issues.

Phua, you have posted more than once on this issue ... just wondering, are you experiencing an actual problem with your phone or just "worried" ? Have you installed the OTA update, and does your pinch-and-zoom work as it should in maps, gallery and the browser?

It is happening to my phone as I follow what the video does. . . . When I touch down 2 fingers stimutanously then I will sometimes get the problem with any painnt Apps that is still registering the mirror side. . I try using the multitouch Visualizer as well it still does happen sometimes. . . .not always but it still does happen. . . It will register the mirror side which means the opposite way that I did not touch. . . . Isn't this a problem???

Bluetooth have several protocols. Usually it depends on the receiving side to determine whether they can accept a particular file or not. It started from Nokia viruses, and all the way to MP3 DMCA issues. That is why.



As for downloading the apps, what I do is this. I remove market from my auto kill apps, whenever there are updates, i just click updates, install, bla bla bla, then just turn the phone off. It will know what to do in the background

Finally found out what happened, seems like the apps were not downloaded through port 80, the connection (office) I used has blocked some uncommon ports.

hohoho. after 2 weeks. i finally get hold my nexus one!

you try to touch with 2 fingers at the "SAME" time......cannot one finger touch first then the other one only touch.....if u touch at the "SAME" time you will see the green circle is circling somewhere else...and it is not circling your finger.....i belive everone is encountering this problem also
