I tried it again for you, still OK. Never get the green circle somewhere else in multitouch Visualizer.

How are your pinch and zoom in maps, browser and gallery behaving? Any problem?

Seriously..as long as the multitouch is working fine..who cares? Maybe is the software problem..not our N1

This issue was already resolved in update1. I never had this issue in the previous build too. What more to say now

Howdy folks, just got my N1 2 days ago. Been playing with it non-stop since.

great..im still waiting for mine to arrive..then i can test that.

but the video was only posted yesterday i think. It shows that by just covering the lower part of the phone with ur hand, it would make it lose the connection from 3g to edge, or at least reduce the signal significantly. Something to do with the antenna on the bottom..

Well, logically, if someone put a palm on your eyes, it will blind you..if someone put their palms on your ears, you would be deaf..so if you put your palms on the phone's antenna, it will reduce the reception..lol..

Question. Does anyone know the criteria Google Contacts & Facebook for Android Sync?
My problem goes like this. Most of my friends are chinese. So, their names are in 3 or four parts. Eg. Wong Tze Hui. <---3 parts. That's the name in my Google Contacts. So, he puts his name Wong Tze Hui in Facebook.
After it had successfully synced. His name shows as "Wong Hui" in my contact list on my phone.
When I try to edit the name. I found 4 rows of his name in Wong, Tze and Hui. But yet it still shows "Wong Hui" only.
How do it forcefully make it to show "Wong Tze Hui"

and uh. how to prevent it from automatically connect either GPRS or 3G? I read this somewhere but i forgot how...this thread is becomin a long thread

I tried mine but it seem to happen that the green circle is circling somewhere else sometimes. . . The browser n maps are working find for me . . . Is just that when I test the multitouch Visualizer I notice the green circle is cirlcling the opposite side. . . Seem like my phone has some problem. . .

Edit one of the contacts and then click options, select "join"..Connect all related ones..The one that you pick primarily will be saved as the final name..

yeah..thats' logical. Well, actually as long as it doesn't worsen the signal for normal use i won't really care anything bout it. But if holding it normally creates such a prob....that's something to worry about.

HAhaha...anyways....cna't wait to get mine tonite!

mine can't work like urs. Facebook's nickname always will be the primarily one that showed on the Contacts. .. =.="

Got my phone finally early this week!
At first didn't want to subcribe to a data plan but gave in finally on the 3rd day. It's such a waste without a data plan.

To manually switch off the edge/gprs:
Goto Phone Info --> Settings --> More --> Disable data connection

If your browser and maps are working fine, I suggest you delete all the so called "test" programs and your phone will be 100% in working order! 8-)

hey guys actually i do facing a problem wif my N1 currently, when i compose new msg it do not link to the contact list, which mean i gonna manually key in the phone number and it cant send out multiple sms. Any idea to solve this prob ?

But sometimes the phone show the mirror side or oppsite of where I press with 2 fingers at the same time is alrite? It only happens when I press 2 fingers at the same time. . . But if I press 1 finger then the 2nd finger then move around with 2 fingers stimutsnously has no issue at all. . . .
