1) Android apps in Market are not as much as in Apps Store
2) Android is not a gaming platform smile.gif
3) Yes there are 'Paid' games and apps for Android. Browse them with http://androlib.com to see what are available.
4) There are several addictive puzzles games such as Jewel, Blox, Frozen Bubbles, Scrambled net, andsudoku, Othello,.. which are good time 'waster' when you are bored smile.gif. Other than that, I tried a SNES emulator and 3D free/demo games such as Speed Forge, Raging Thunder. Others ... mmm see this video clip smile.gif

Haha Youtube... you will find lots of cool games on the Android platform. And with flash support the flash games are endless out there.
But for me I have PSP, console and PC...
This Nexus is for all the cool apps!

is there any games like iphone in NEXUS ONE??

Android still very young as a game platform as the first gen phone doesn't have strong hardware.

You can see some titles available now here:

preview of a new game still in development:

Dude, before you ask questions like those, why not you take some initiative and read the whole thread once and for all first? These questions have been asked sooo many freaking times already..least, you can use the search feature..

Disable Wifi if not needed
Disable GPS (why would you need it under normal daily use anyway, unless you are toying with apps)
Reduce the frequency of data sync, eg your RSS reader, your news and weather, your contact sycn, your email pop download frequency, your gmail sync, facebook notification..etc. Put a longer duration.
Reduce screen brightness, you don't need it to be glaring bright, unless you are outside.
Check if you have apps running in background and consuming your CPU still. I use OSMonitor app which is quite cool
Are you in signal weak spot area? It will drain your batt even more. I heard that putting your hands at the bottom of the phone somehow deteriorates the signal.
Put a faster screen timeout.

Get the OTA update
Download netcounter from market. You'll get a hint from it on data transmission. If it kept going up frequently, you have something running that is doing data transfer work in bg.

Once i've tried disabling 3G data all together for few days...the phone lasted 2 days without charging and still with juice left.

Hey guys,

I'm a new Nexus One owner and it's great to join the club! smile.gif

Anyway, I usually just lurk but I had something to share so...

For those who get constant disconnects from the GSM network (I don't have 3G yet), here's something to try:

1. Home Screen -> Settings -> Wireless & Netowrk Settings > Mobile networks > Network operators -> Select Automatically
2. Home Screen -> Phone -> Dial *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone Information -> Switch from 'WCDMA preferred' to 'GSM only'

It's basically the 'fix' for 3G but I'm only on GSM so this fixed my GSM problem. Hope it helps someone. smile.gif

Edit: I had this problem with the OTA update. No idea about before that cause I updated right after I got my phone.

Don't know about IPOH touch, but ipod list prices are on the Malaysian apple store's website:
