1) Android apps in Market are not as much as in Apps Store
2) Android is not a gaming platform
3) Yes there are 'Paid' games and apps for Android. Browse them with http://androlib.com to see what are available.
4) There are several addictive puzzles games such as Jewel, Blox, Frozen Bubbles, Scrambled net,  andsudoku, Othello,.. which are good time 'waster' when you are bored . Other than that, I tried a SNES emulator and 3D free/demo games such as Speed Forge, Raging Thunder. Others ... mmm see this video clip
