I think it is ok as long as I am travelling with my family.
It will be money well spent.

QUOTE(abubin @ Jan 14 2010, 03:03 PM) Traveling around MY is fine as it's cheap. But what about going to US or UK or Japan and other countries. Those are expensive. Late by 10 years to reply, but yes. $10K isn't "much" nowadays as our currency has dwindled slightly. So, are you willing to spend 10k (for you and your partner) to go traveling? Because that 10k is for airplane ticket, hotel lodging, traveling fees, tickets and food only. That means 10k just gone like that. For some people it is worth it but for some you get nothing (tangible) in the end. Discuss.... If can't afford to go far away, then go to neighbouring countries also is OK. No need to be keeping up with the Joneses. ![]() |

It is a matter of budgeting, mindset, and of course how much money you make. I am faaaar from spending 10K on travel currently, though hoping to get there at some point...

This thread started 10 years ago. You can hardly go out of SEA countries with 10k budget if you want to have a decent trip now (air tickets, hotels, transportation, food, attraction tickets, souvenirs)
Now the title should be changed to "will you spend rm20k to go travelling. " 😁😁 |
