Late by 10 years to reply, but yes. $10K isn't "much" nowadays as our currency has dwindled slightly. So, are you willing to spend 10k (for you and your partner) to go traveling? If can't afford to go far away, then go to neighbouring countries also is OK. No need to be keeping up with the Joneses.
