it's a question of:

Experience vs Material vs Saving.

I sold off my old car and spent 15k+ for a month of USA trip 5 years ago.
Everything start from zero again and work hard for saving after coming back.
Ppls said I'm crazy but it's a different life experience for me.

Without a doubt, yes. RM10k for 2, many times. Australia & Japan being amongst them on several occasions. RM10k per person so far twice. 21 days Greece, Portugal & Italy, approx RM12k per person. And 15 days Norway & Finland, approx RM13k per person.

Upcoming Iceland this May, estimated at RM14k per person for 15 days.

If one can save for it, or make money for travel, it is something to be done every now and then. The world is vast. We don't want to be travelling when we are old, bones needing WD40, eyes requiring magnifying glasses and bladder wanting to go pee every other hour ..

For some, traveling is not their thing. And that's fine. Just live with no regrets, that's all I got to say.

Is for 2x adults 2x kids age6&10

We also stayed in Disneyland Hilton Tokyo Bay 5D4N for JPY195956
And ride the Nozomi Shinkansen Osaka to Tokyo.
Osaka to Tokyo sit on your left to see the Mount Fuji.
Tokyo to Osaka sit on your left side.

If is couple go for cheaper stay walk longer will be fine. Advice For family with kids stay near as possible covered walk way to your hotel is best to shelter from any rain or winter winds.

Thanks for sharing.

I did 12 nights in Osaka + Kyoto with my partner for total of RM15k (DIY trip)

Really worth every cent spent for the Japan trip. In fact, since it was our first trip there, we refrained from spending too much on food (we limit to around RM220 per day or 5,000Y for both of us) which we actually regretted later on. Next time will spend more on food!

i wish i can travel as much as u...sadly budget restriction cry.gif

and malaysian's beauties are not states
they're our multiple islands, mount kinabalu
like how many malaysians actually can say they climbed mount kinabalu laugh.gif

the true beauty of other country(or their state), we have to go deep inside as well...it will not be within their city center area
