You'd be either naive or new to the way Apple price their products. You may have more leeway when it comes to entry level items or last gen devices but we're talking about their flagship product here.

I foresee hearts to be broken, supposed "pundits" and predictors slinking into the shadow where they came from, hang their heads in shame after the price figures are announced. Exciting times ahead indeed!

there is no Singaporean apple store, Maxis and Digi are the only parties responsible for warranty claims, it doesnt not mean you go over to Singapore they'd give you coverage.

That's iValue 3, assuming if the plan for iPhone 4 is the same as the 3GS.
If you get iValue 1, the price for the iPhone is still less than RM2,000.

By the way, Apple has officially announced that there will be no more free bumper for those that buy the iPhone 4 after 30 September. However, if you are having signal attenuation issue with your iPhone 4, you can still contact AppleCare to ask for a free bumper. Let's get our finger crossed that we'll be able to get our iPhone 4 before 30 September.

i bet you there'll be many malaysians that will be cheapskate and take advantage of this. They should insist that the phone be taken back to maxis for further testing rather than relying on the customer's hearsay.

That's why I think once they stop giving out free case, i don't think it'll be easy to claim the free case eventhough if there is a death grip problem with the phone...

To all iPhone 3GS owner who pre-ordered their phone, did Maxis send notification about the date of pre-order before it starts taking pre-order?

As far as I remember, no announcement was made regarding pre-order date.

Do correct me if I'm wrong.

If they send out notification right on the day they start taking pre-order, then there is still hope for the rumored 13th Sep.... Rather than keep on saying coming soon, why can't Maxis just give us a date at least we don't have to get disappointed week after week....

maybe nobody knows when sirim or customs can clear those stocks. remember last year 32gb was delayed bcoz clearance was late?

i think they will stick with the plan that offer in 3gs last time for iphone 4...
even digi is dropping the plan rate now but maxis still stick with the old plan...
