QUOTE(blinkblink88 @ Sep 13 2010, 12:51 AM) i think they will stick with the plan that offer in 3gs last time for iphone 4... even digi is dropping the plan rate now but maxis still stick with the old plan...
Added on September 13, 2010, 12:52 amthey do not post the date because they want you keep on visit their website day by day.... cause digi has overstock of the 3GS lah, cannot sell so havto put down the plan till RM60, wait untill they have iphone 4 the plan will revert back to RM88 but actually DIgi didnt lessen the plan price because the differences RM88-60=RM28 is still being charged to you in the beginning? how is that a discount? QUOTE(gurus @ Sep 13 2010, 11:12 AM) ya i dont see any cheaper for the iphones from digi even they have reduced the plan rates. plan rates = jatuh phone price = naik Thats how they play the cards. It does have a difference from finance perspective especially from the consumer side. See phone price is one time payment and if a consumer is excited to get the phone, the consumer will unlikely feel the pinch. Servicing the plan on the other hand is a different matter since money has to be paid throughout the contract. So yes, it makes no difference when you calculate the overalls but from cash flow side there's positive change. Even though its the same thing.

Can someone confirmed or seen a news about a new release with hardware fix soon? Then all we get here might be without hardware fix. Import all the older version iphone4 into Malaysia while the rest of the world are getting new batch of stocks.
The waiting game continue. If preorder come next month then nov or even waiting list December will get the phone. Too slow. That time the world is waiting for new iPhone. This is the problem when they release it too slow in Malaysia.

Some more there are reports saying that Foxconn has spent 20 millions to buy the machines that only produce the iPhone 4 antenna, do you think Apple can ditch the hardware design just like that? I think not only they won't redesign the iPhone 4, probably iPhone 5 will use the same design as well, just like 3G and 3GS... The same report also said that Foxconn produces 137,000 iphones daily, but there are still shortages of iphone 4 worldwide, even Korea that just launched the iphone 4, the number of phones available is only 10,000 units, although they have 300000 ppl pre-ordered the iphone 4. I think Apple is trying to hold back the stock until after 30 Sep so that they don't have to give out free bumpers that can affect their revenues... So guys, don't put too much hope that you can get the iPhone 4 by this month This post has been edited by dannywonglh: Sep 13 2010, 02:36 PM

I think not only they won't redesign the iPhone 4, probably iPhone 5 will use the same design as well, just like 3G and 3GS... Those Fanuc machines can do a lot of things. They can be re-tooled and reprogrammed to handle different products. It goes to show what kind of iPhones it will be manufacturing in the future. Now, iPhone 4 industrial design won't change for sure. Its too late since it has been committed. The antenna design won't change either. What can be changed are the superficials like coating along the metal frame. Apple is stuck with the current configuration (at least with the antenna) until next year.

QUOTE(dannywonglh @ Sep 13 2010, 03:02 PM) In Taiwan, the telco start taking pre-orders and they wouldn't know when will Apple supply the iPhone, but at least they inform their customers upfront about this, not like Maxis, keep on telling us Coming Soon...
Clearly consumerism is not good in our side of the world hehehehe

QUOTE(yeehau86 @ Sep 13 2010, 04:19 PM) Actually not bad already, we registered our emails at their site and they got send emails regarding Ipod Touch Thats probably free information for them already! They could re-use those information for their other marketing/promotions. In other countries, its already qualified for a public complaint.
