News from the web: Korea and Taiwan will start selling their iPhone 4 on 10th Sep 2010 and 15th Sep 2010 respectively. No news for Malaysia, do you think Maxis will start selling iPhone 4 this month without even a single news from the web?

If Apple were to cut losses, why they still want to ship the iPhone 4 to country like Korea and Taiwan? I believe the iPhone population in these countries is far more higher than Malaysia....



Just got an update from web, Chile is start accepting pre-order for iPhone 4.

I supposed the "launch" is just a pre-order, that means we are only able to collect our iphone at the end of the month.... Oh, by that time no more free bumper for Malaysian that buy the iPhone 4....

Did your insider tell you when will Maxis accept pre-order? At least that can quench the iPhone 4 thirst a bit:p

By the way, Apple has officially announced that there will be no more free bumper for those that buy the iPhone 4 after 30 September. However, if you are having signal attenuation issue with your iPhone 4, you can still contact AppleCare to ask for a free bumper. Let's get our finger crossed that we'll be able to get our iPhone 4 before 30 September.

That's why I think once they stop giving out free case, i don't think it'll be easy to claim the free case eventhough if there is a death grip problem with the phone...

Come on Maxis, people are waiting!!

To all iPhone 3GS owner who pre-ordered their phone, did Maxis send notification about the date of pre-order before it starts taking pre-order?

If they send out notification right on the day they start taking pre-order, then there is still hope for the rumored 13th Sep.... Rather than keep on saying coming soon, why can't Maxis just give us a date at least we don't have to get disappointed week after week....

Some more there are reports saying that Foxconn has spent 20 millions to buy the machines that only produce the iPhone 4 antenna, do you think Apple can ditch the hardware design just like that? I think not only they won't redesign the iPhone 4, probably iPhone 5 will use the same design as well, just like 3G and 3GS...

The same report also said that Foxconn produces 137,000 iphones daily, but there are still shortages of iphone 4 worldwide, even Korea that just launched the iphone 4, the number of phones available is only 10,000 units, although they have 300000 ppl pre-ordered the iphone 4. I think Apple is trying to hold back the stock until after 30 Sep so that they don't have to give out free bumpers that can affect their revenues... So guys, don't put too much hope that you can get the iPhone 4 by this month

In Taiwan, the telco start taking pre-orders and they wouldn't know when will Apple supply the iPhone, but at least they inform their customers upfront about this, not like Maxis, keep on telling us Coming Soon...

Finally i got mine.... Will it be any surprise when Maxis opened up for pre-order, eg White iPhone 4?

Hopefully the launch will be sooner than 25th Sep because Taiwan will be launching this Friday...

Based on the latest email sent from Maxis, they will launch it any day from now, so just be prepared. What i worry is they might have limited stock because in Korea, they only have 10000 units available during launch day whereas for Taiwan only less than 30000 available. Hopefully they will launch it on 16th Sep in conjunction with Malaysia day, which is 2 days more, hoohooo....

I supposed the bad things that people sent to you are none other than antenna problem, proximity sensor problem.... If you follow the news since June, then you will know all these are not an issue anymore after the released of iOS 4.1....

Just visited one of the Taiwan telco site, they will be having 12am midnight launch on 17/9, and 9pm 16/9 customers can start queuing up, pretty similar to the rumors that we heard about maxis so far. And only those pre-ordered and invited will able to get the iphone during the 3 days iPhone 4 launching event from 17/9 - 19/9, which also matched the rumored 24/9 - 26/9 for Maxis.
