I saw that thing at friends and it is so cool. You have a speaker in a room and it will play any music from any phone without having to connect to a computer and transfer files. We had a little party and everyone could stream their favourite songs directly from their handsets, not only iPhones. The quality was very very good... I am not sure if I found the right link, but I think this is the speaker I saw yesterday: ZiiSound D5 Does anyone know if it works with an iPad? I want to get an iPad at some stage and I want a wireless speaker that will have good sound quality. This post has been edited by bi-amped J: Apr 15 2010, 11:02 PM

Apple announced this morning that due to strong sales of the Apple iPad, they have delayed international delivery for about a month. Although we have delivered more than 500,000 iPads during its first week, demand is far higher than we predicted and will likely continue to exceed our supply over the next several weeks as more people see and touch an iPad. We have also taken a large number of pre-orders for iPad 3G models for delivery by the end of April.
Apple reports that the high demand is responsible for the delay in international shipments. International delivery will take place at the end of May. Details and pre-orders will be announced on May 10th.

And please do not copy and paste without linking a source... I read this exact article somewhere.

QUOTE(Edoras @ Apr 15 2010, 08:12 PM) Hmmm... now how can I buy the iPad apps? I can only download FREE iPad apps but cannot buy through Credit Card... :-( You can buy iPad games and apps using your Malaysian Account on your desktop/laptop iTunes then sync it over. The on device iTunes app does not allow for users outside of US to connect to different country iTunes. Only some apps require to have US iTunes accounts like the Apple iWorks suite.

Today latest news, Israel banned iPad for sales.. QUOTE JERUSALEM – Israel has banned imports of Apple Inc.'s hottest new product, the iPad, citing concerns the powerful gadget's wireless signals could disrupt other devices. Customs officials said Thursday they have already confiscated about 10 of the lightweight tablet computers since Israel announced the new regulations this week. The ban prevents anyone — even tourists — from bringing iPads into Israel until officials certify that they comply with local transmitter standards. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission allows devices with Wi-Fi capability to broadcast at higher power levels than are allowed in Europe and Israel — meaning that the iPad's stronger signal could throw off others' wireless connections, Schubert said. "If you operate equipment in a frequency band which is different from the others that operate on that frequency band, then there will be interference," said Nati Schubert, a senior deputy director for the Communications Ministry. "We don't care where people buy their equipment. ... But without regulation, you would have chaos." Some Israelis successfully got the popular devices into Israel before the ban. For the love of God gadgeteers please do not buy a first generation Apple product.
My 1st gen iPhone only works as an ipod now (SIM card doesn't read, or the antenna is gone).
My macbook black 1st gen intel chip has had its:
1. logic board 2. battery 3. palm rest (cracked) 4. hard drive
all replaced (thank goodness it was free).
I don't want to know the kind of problems the ipad will run into....anyway we all know 2nd gen will have more features so it will be best to wait, unless you are filthy rich.

My first gen iPhone is still running fine albeit slower compared to the 3GS. I remember my first iBook taking forever to die before I could buy a new one
