QUOTE(Eli @ Sep 7 2010, 04:52 PM) your rabbit put in one room? he really bless to have you as his master. i cannot follow your cage settings.i put my rabbit outside (car porch) at her secure cage.normally i put her at playpan when im around.i put customize wyre on top of playpan (4x4).this is to prevent stray cat from jumping into playpan and kill her. cant wait to hold her tonight.she is getting more meaty.she is very nice to hold (another physicall abuse by me). its normal for them to make mess with their food
my rabbit also the same i tried bigger tray, they jump inside.....eat n even pee/shit inside there now i just put the hay on top of a floor tiles let them eat n be messy the only thing that i give attention rite now is to control the hay from dropping under the cage cos that would be wasteful but i would like to try the DIY method given by vincentwee cos nextweek i will be away from home maybe that idea would be usefull when there is nobody home to feed them |

QUOTE(vincentwee @ Sep 8 2010, 09:50 AM) ai yo yo hahahahahaha, i wouldnt say it's really smelly. i clean twice day, once in the morning and once at night after work. takes a bit of time cos the play pen area is huge but if u clean well, the smells goes away. unlike grass, tiles doesnt absord the smell. My only problem is when he runs into the kitchen after i open the play pen. the tiles in the kitchen isnt very good and his pee stains the tiles your living hall must be super smelly with his urine since he lost his potty training. normally i put her at garden btw 8-10pm.rabbit urine is so strong where soil and grass cant cover the smell.i have to sirim for few minutes at the grass&soil in to get rid of the smell each day. ..your love for him is so great....! im been thinking as she grow bigger, taller and fatter..sooner or later....i have to convert her playpan as her own cage....problem is i dont wan to wash my car porch floor if she urine and it will be stinky and dirty as herself walk pass those urine..geli.. if buy those bedding, not sure she will use it or not...some more additional expenses.. keep thinking how to trance her tonight..haha... try to trance your rabbit if u never try...it is so cute....as they are under your control....wahaha.. cannot help but love him, when he is in the mood, he is absolutely wonderful. car porch can use brissle broom and water, not too bad |
