oh hi guys
this is my rabbit
bought it about 1month ago

Attached Image

last week his fur at the nose area has fall off
i ask the rabbit shop, they suspect my rabbit got flu
so they suggest me to buy a canisep cream for its nose
now the fur is slowly growing back biggrin.gif

n i got another one,black color,slightly bigger n older
she is angora mix with lionhead i guess
cos her face got long fur
havent take her pic yet hehe

btw i separate these 2 rabbit in different cage
i didnt bought them at the same time
so when i bought this brown rabbit, they didnt get along

i think i will try to mix them in another few weeks

PLC is pet lovers centre. Are u in klang valley? If u are there are a ton of them around- sunway pyramid, ikano, bangsar shopping complex. If u are not, buying online might be easier.

Yup, try moving your rabbit to timothy hay when he is 6 months. Gradually.

thx for the info

already check the PLC website
seems like their nearest outlet is Mines

i will continue to do survey in other shops

anyway from my observation, not many pet shop selling timothy hay
usually they only sell alfalfa

its normal for them to make mess with their food
my rabbit also the same

i tried bigger tray,they jump inside.....eat n even pee/shit inside there
now i just put the hay on top of a floor tiles
let them eat n be messy

the only thing that i give attention rite now is to control the hay from dropping under the cage
cos that would be wasteful

but i would like to try the DIY method given by vincentwee
cos nextweek i will be away from home
maybe that idea would be usefull when there is nobody home to feed them

Bonding can be hard
Previously my lionhead fought wit my angora when i thought they can be friend
Then my uncle gave another lionhead to accompany my lionhead
They get along instantly
Rite now wanna find a partner for my angora
Probably wanna get a hotot like vincent

hi =] if im getting a wired cage, do i need to get a litter box at the corner?
i also heard u should line the bottom of wired cage with bathroom floor mats~ but how will the pee n poo go through? do u line the whole bottom with the mat?
*
If ur rabbit still small
Usually the poo is small enuff to fall down thru the floormat holes

If u really worried about it
Get a floor mat with bigger holes
