they can't give you an answer
the exchange rate will be based on WHEN the transaction is posted, not when you make the purchase

Well. If i were to make transaction now, would they be able to at least tell me the approximate rate?

Any approximation i can use?

I can find MBB forex exchange rate table from their web if dat helps..it shows the buy/sell rates as well.

To simplify the answer ... if today's forex rate is 3.25. You need to roughly calculate based on 3.35-3.38.
The rate are calculated based on VISA/MC rate on the day the transaction is posted. (Plus the bank's admin fee)
So if you need a definite answer ... try calling VISA/MC international - good luck in trying. You can call the bank and they will tell you the same thing.

Bro ... if you are so worried, I would suggest you to buy something cheap off the net and check your statement after that. The personal experience will tell you the answer that you want on its own since you don't understand our explanation.

If you're buying something online with your local card, you're basically at the bank's mercy on rate and fees. Just give it a 5% cushion to be safe.
